The Interior Construction Foreman is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and managing all interior construction projects. This role requires a strong leader with hands-on experience in construction, particularly interior finishes such as drywall, carpentry, painting, flooring, and cabinetry. The Foreman ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and safety regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a skilled communicator, and experienced in managing teams of subcontractors and tradespeople.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Project Management &amp; Supervision:</li><li>Lead and supervise a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and tradespeople in various phases of interior construction.</li><li>Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily work activities to meet project deadlines.</li><li>Ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, blueprints, and local building codes.</li><li>Quality Control:</li><li>Inspect work for accuracy, completeness, and quality to ensure high standards are met.</li><li>Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly.</li><li>Ensure that finished interiors meet design specifications and client expectations.</li><li>Safety &amp; Compliance:</li><li>Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.</li><li>Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings with team members regularly.</li><li>Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.</li><li>Communication &amp; Coordination:</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact between project managers, subcontractors, and clients.</li><li>Address and resolve any issues or conflicts on-site to maintain project flow.</li><li>Prepare daily reports on project progress, labor, and materials used.</li><li>Material Management &amp; Cost Control:</li><li>Order materials and equipment needed for interior work, ensuring timely delivery.</li><li>Monitor project expenses and work within budget constraints.</li><li>Track inventory levels and minimize material waste.</li><li>Technical Expertise &amp; Problem Solving:</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.</li><li>Troubleshoot construction challenges and implement effective solutions.</li><li>Provide hands-on support in critical areas, such as framing, drywall installation, or finish carpentry.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience: Minimum of 5 years in construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role focused on interior projects.</li><li>Skills:</li><li>Strong leadership and team management skills.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.</li><li>Proficiency in using construction tools and equipment.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.</li><li>Certifications (preferred but not required):</li><li>OSHA 30-Hour Safety Certification.</li><li>First Aid and CPR Certification.</li><li>Carpentry or construction trade certifications.</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor as needed.</li><li>Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, or with heavy equipment.</li><li>Ability to work outdoors or in varying weather conditions, as needed.</li></ul>Work Schedule<ul><li>Schedule: Full-time, typically Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as needed.</li></ul>This role is ideal for a skilled construction professional looking to take on a leadership position within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
