We are seeking an Architectural Designer to join our team!You will participate as a team member in the technical development of schematic, design development, and construction documents.This position requires the candidate to work on a project team. Candidate must be proficient in both oral and written communication, be able to read and interpret construction drawings, prepare accurate detailed drawings from data obtained from field surveys, operate a computer using AutoCAD, develop drawings for architecture projects, and comply with company drafting standards for drawing preparation.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Report daily to Mattituck, Long Island office (ZIP 11952)</li><li>Complete field surveys to record the existing conditions of new projects.</li><li>Collaborate with the principal architect to develop schematic, design development, and construction documents.</li><li>Documentation in CAD of existing conditions based off initial measurements and photos.</li><li>Daily correspondence with team to provide updates on status of all current projects.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>[REQUIRED] 4-5 year degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited architecture program.</li><li>2-3 years experience in the field of architecture, preferred.</li><li>Proficiency with AutoCAD.</li><li>Strong computer skills.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.</li><li>Self-motivated and eager to learn.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Mattituck, NY 11952 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
