<div><div><div><div><div><p>The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing Ampacet&rsquo;s test methods on finished products and raw materials to determine if the materials are acceptable to customer and internal specifications, while maintaining accurate data collection and test records.</p><div><b>
Responsibilities:</b></div><br>
<div></div><ul><li>
Testing and inspection of finished goods and raw materials.</li><li>
Keeping accurate legible records of test data and information related to the quality of the finished product.</li><li>
Visual examination of the finished product to insure it meets our quality requirements.</li><li>
Making adjustments to the formulation to obtain the proper color and ash.</li><li>
Working safely and adhering to all laboratory and plant safety policies.</li><li>
Assisting other laboratory personnel with their work, when time permits.</li><li>
Performing other duties as assigned.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Minimum Qualifications:</b></div><br>
<div></div><ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.</li><li>
Ability to demonstrate good math skills.</li><li>
Ability to distinguish color.</li><li>
Must be able to interact with all departments within the organization.</li><li>
Experience in Excel.</li><li>
Must be able to successfully pass Ampacet&rsquo;s math and color test for consideration.</li><li>
Must be able to maintain confidentiality with proprietary formulations.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Preferred Qualifications:</b></div><br>
<div></div><ul><li>
Additional education in Chemistry, Test Methods or other related QC work.</li><li>
Minimum 2 years of lab experience.</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal skills.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Work Environment/Physical Conditions</b></div><div><ul><li>
Wears and properly utilizes appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in all areas where it is required. This includes hard hat, safety glasses, PAPRs, ear plugs, steel-toed boots, protective gloves, fall protection devices and/or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done.</li><li>
Must successfully pass a company physical.</li><li>
Able to lift up to 70 lbs.</li><li>
Be capable of twisting, bending, stooping, standing, walking, stepping, climbing or otherwise moving from one location on the job site to another, sometimes using steps or ladders.</li><li>
Be able to work in adverse weather conditions/temperatures.</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div><br>
