Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role is essential in maintaining smooth store operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient sales processing and effective communication.Duties<ul><li>Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions accurately</li><li>Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries</li><li>Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision and integrity</li><li>Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities</li><li>Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure proper merchandising at registers</li><li>Stock shelves and assist with inventory management as needed</li><li>Conduct product demos when applicable to engage customers and increase sales</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly</li><li>Follow phone etiquette standards when communicating with customers over the phone</li><li>Assist in merchandising efforts to create attractive displays that encourage purchases</li><li>Support stock replenishment and stocking tasks to keep the store well-organized</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous cashier or retail sales experience is preferred, especially in grocery or retail environments</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures</li><li>Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are a plus</li><li>Experience supervising or leading team members is advantageous but not required</li><li>Basic math skills for retail math, making change, and handling transactions accurately</li><li>Knowledge of upselling techniques and customer service best practices</li><li>Ability to perform product demos and assist with merchandising efforts effectively</li></ul>Please apply in person at 786 W Guadalupe rdGilbert az 85233.
