 Making people realize the importance of physical fitness &amp; sports &ndash; physiological benefits/ social benefits/ psychological benefits/ disease prevention benefits/ work performance related benefits. &ndash;
 </li>
 <li>
 Making people participate in routine physical activities that contributes to their well-being as mentioned above.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitoring the standard of physical fitness and sports activities vis a vis the target standards and take required actions to meet expected standards.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Duties
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Inspire and be a role model for students and staff to enjoy being physically fit and participate in games. &ndash; for students.
 </li>
 <li>
 Plan &amp; organize fitness and sports and field events in campus in sync with academic calendar and daily schedule. Assess, record, report on progress / attainment of students.
 </li>
 <li>
 Interact with Student Counsellor, Campus Doctor/ Nurse and Yoga Master and plan holistic development of students.
 </li>
 <li>
 Select, manage, coach and officiate sport teams/events. Form teams to represent college. where necessary, escort the team to participate in various events outside campus &ndash; Be passionate about PE and communicate periodically with students and staff.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain discipline during sports and exercises/ fitness training.
 </li>
 <li>
 Arrange periodical sports events for staff.
 </li>
 <li>
 Evaluate every student&rsquo;s physical abilities &amp; skills by informal testing before involving them in activity.
 </li>
 <li>
 Share information about injuries/ ailments of students/ staff with Campus Doctor.
 </li>
 <li>
 Report behavioral and discipline issues to Management and student counsellor.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintenance of Gym equipment and also guiding students in the gym.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that the Gym and its equipment/ Sports grounds and facilities are well maintained and conform to safety norms &ndash; and are used as per applicable rules.
 
 
 </li>
