Responsibilities as a Junior Data Analyst;</b><br>

<li>Serving as the first point of contact for engagement teams using the Analytics platform for troubleshooting or general functionality queries, providing assistance and guidance in its use.</li>
<li>Supporting data acquisition and extraction from clients' accounting systems.</li>
<li>Handling the manipulation and upload of complex data sets from various finance systems across multiple business areas and clients into the platform.</li>
<li>Maintaining a high-level understanding of the system being supported and using Microsoft SQL to troubleshoot issues raised by the audit practice via the help desk system.</li>
<li>Potentially developing and maintaining various bespoke projects outside the analytics platform on a client-by-client basis.</li>
<li>Conducting data quality checks, which may need to be escalated to the audit practice or client as necessary.</li>
<li>Assisting relevant teams in troubleshooting platform or bespoke solution issues.</li>

<b>Candidate Requirements;</b><br>
<ul>
<li>A degree with a 2.2 or above, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a science-related field. Other qualifications will also be considered.</li>
<li>Strong working knowledge of Excel (including formulae such as SUM, COUNT, IF, VLOOKUP, ISERROR).</li>
<li>Enthusiasm and demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.</li>
<li>Previous experience working with a structured programming language such as C#, VBA, C++, or SQL is highly beneficial.</li>
<li>An understanding of basic accounting principles is beneficial but not required.</li>

As a Team Scheduler you will support The Analytics Support Centre (ASC). A Cardiff based delivery centre developed to assist audit practitioners with completing analytics work. Analytics can enhance the quality and efficiency of an audit, as well as deliver meaningful insights to clients. The vision is for analytics to be used in all audits.</p>
<p>
The Team Coordinator will primarily be responsible for ASC workflow management and job allocation but may also provide operational support and contribute to core team tasks.</p>
<p><b>
Responsibilities as a </b><b>Team Scheduler</b>;</p>
<ul>
<li>Managing the ASC workflow (phone, email, and ticketing system) to ensure analytics requests are assigned to an appropriate team member within a predetermined time frame.</li>
<li>Developing a comprehensive understanding of team workflow, communicating audit requirements and demand against ADC resource availability to team leaders regularly.</li>
<li>Assigning analytic tasks based on priority, technical expertise, and complexity.</li>
<li>Resolving day-to-day queries within the team and the wider practice.</li>
<li>Managing and maintaining team policy documents and manuals, including the training schedule and annual leave &amp; absence tracker.</li>
