Job Summary</b></h2></div><div><p>
The Sr. Engineer Track Data Science &amp; Analytics assists with data processing, analysis, and storage to provide information for the development of data-driven scopes of work for maintenance activities. This role will be responsible for collaborating with colleagues in the Clearance, Inspection &amp; Test Group and other key stakeholders to modernize existing workflows and to develop new tools for the visualization and analysis of infrastructure condition data.</p></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Essential Functions</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>Develop and implement machine learning algorithms, automated data processing workflows, and graphical and analytical software used by the Engineering Department for condition monitoring, work planning, and degradation analysis.</li><li>Collaborate with Senior Engineer Data Management &amp; Analytics to expand database and analysis capabilities of AssetWise software.</li><li>Collaborate with Manager Engineering Track Geometry Improvements to improve curve data analysis and visualization tools.</li><li>Assist in providing technical, logistical, and administrative support to ensure the successful completion of assigned project tasks within scope, schedule and budget.</li><li>May be called upon to assist in inspections utilizing track geometry and catenary measurement cars.</li><li>May be called upon to assist in field inspections.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>Experience developing and implementing ML/AI models to support engineering decision-making activities.</li><li>Experience with digital image processing in the context of Machine Vision applications.</li><li>Experience with, or the ability to learn and understand the use of, software such as Python, GitHub, DataBricks, AWS, Matlab, Bentley AssetWise, GeoDrive, PowerBI, Survey123, ArcGIS, ESRI, and Bentley Microstation.</li><li>Must be able to interface with all levels of employees and both external and internal customers.</li><li>Must be qualified in, or become qualified in, Roadway Worker Protection, AMT-2 and MW1000, and maintain these qualifications.</li><li>Must be skilled and experienced with MS Office, creating spreadsheets, presentations, memorandums, high-level scheduling and utilizing other applications to perform job functions.</li><li>Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal.</li><li>Demonstrates leadership by taking initiative and requires minimal supervision of daily tasks</li><li>Excellent time management skills</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written</li><li>Understands how to collaborate with various work groups</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

The salary/hourly range is $103,700.00 &ndash; $134,460.00. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. Depending on an employee&rsquo;s assigned worksite or location, Amtrak may consider a geo-pay differential to be applied to the employee&rsquo;s base salary. Amtrak may offer additional incentive and pay programs to recognize and reward our employees, including a short-term incentive bonus based upon factors such as individual and company performance that is commensurate with the level of the position. SUMMARY OF DUTIES:</b></p><p></p><p><br>
This team works cross-functionally to support Amtrak&rsquo;s enterprise social channels. The incumbent will focus on engagement opportunities and social listening to support Amtrak&rsquo;s organic and paid media strategies. This position works collaboratively with internal and external partners to recommend and implement social media strategies in support of Amtrak&rsquo;s strategic plan and enterprise priorities.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</b></p><br>

Identify areas of opportunity for fan outreach, inclusive of platform expansion.</li><li>
Engage opportunities for Amtrak to jump on trends and interact with brands, influencers, and fans to reach new audiences.</li><li>
Proactively monitoring the flow of social to inform campaign development, support new business inquiries and collect data to facilitate audience analysis and competitive industry reporting.</li><li>
Support Loyalty and Customer Experience team as they elevate social care</li><li>
Research communities and niches to support influencer and content creator sourcing</li><li>
Incumbent to support the creation and execution campaigns across Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, and Threads.</li><li>
Collaborate and strategize with internal departments, outside brands, and state partners to promote business initiatives and grow brand reach.</li><li>
Support content capture projects, inclusive of photo shoots on moving trains.</li><li>
