Senior Product Applications Engineer
Job Description:
The charter of Analog Devices&rsquo; Consumer Audio team is to develop cutting-edge products for hearables, hearing health, and prosumer audio markets. These mixed-signal audio edge processors combine precision audio, heterogeneous processing, power management, connectivity and algorithms to enable next-generation user experiences.
In this role, you will contribute to product bring-up, validation, and system debug while building strong application expertise in audio products. You will work across silicon, embedded software, connectivity, and customer use cases, collaborating with global cross-functional teams to help bring innovative audio solutions to market.
Minimum Qualifications:
<ul><li>BSEE/MSEE in Electronics or equivalent degree with 5-8 years of progressive experience in Applications engineering, product engineering, validation, or embedded systems development</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with mixed-signal systems and audio signal chains</li>
<li>Working knowledge of wireless connectivity such as Bluetooth in embedded audio systems</li>
<li>Experience in C/C++ and/or Python for embedded bring-up, debug, test automation and data analysis</li>
<li>Experience with PCB bring-up, schematic review, and board level debugging</li>
<li>Familiarity with debugging the hardware/software boundary</li>
<li>Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal direction</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience collaborating across globally distributed teams</li>
</ul>Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Provide technical support to customers and field teams, including issue reproduction, triage, and resolution</li>
<li>Develop strong product knowledge and translate features into clear application guidance, reference implementations, and debug recommendations</li>
<li>Debug hardware and software issues at board and system levels using lab setups and evaluation platforms</li>
<li>Develop and maintain evaluation kits, reference platforms, and example use cases for customer adoption</li>
<li>Create high-quality technical collateral including application notes, user guides, and demo documentation</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with product design, system applications, software, and marketing teams to improve product usability</li>
<li>Support development of customer demos and proof-of-concept systems for internal and external engagements</li>
<li>Work effectively with global teams across multiple sites to support product lifecycle execution</li>

The Senior Principal Account Manager, Global Accounts is responsible for leading Analog Devices&rsquo; (ADI) global account strategy and driving sales execution for a leading North American Automotive OEM. The Global Account Director will drive strategic alignment between ADI&rsquo;s Automotive Business Unit and the customer&rsquo;s long-term business and technology objectives, influencing E/E architecture decisions and enabling sustainable revenue growth.
This role requires the development of senior executive relationships to foster strong collaboration and ensure alignment with ADI&rsquo;s strategic priorities at the highest levels of the organization.
Candidates can be based anywhere in the U.S., with ability and willingness to travel to customer locations approximately 30-50% (depending on location).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
<ul><li>Drive profitable revenue growth and market share expansion within the assigned global account</li>
<li>Engage deeply across the customer&rsquo;s decision-making lifecycle, from early solution definition through design win and commercialization</li>
<li>Establish ADI as a trusted strategic partner by developing a deep understanding of customer business and technical challenges and delivering differentiated, value-based solutions</li>
<li>Translate customer strategies and requirements into actionable internal plans, aligning cross-functional stakeholders to address complex business opportunities</li>
<li>Lead and coordinate global, cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and convert opportunities into revenue</li>
<li>Lead the global OEM account team to ensure effective coverage across key customer sites and regions</li>
<li>Develop and maintain a comprehensive Strategic Account Plan, including long-range (multi-year) revenue growth objectives</li>
<li>Lead commercial engagements, including contract negotiations and pricing strategies, to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes</li>
<li>Provide regular business updates and account insights to ADI senior leadership</li>
<li>Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers at all organizational levels, including executive leadership</li>
<li>Own overall account performance, including proactive management and resolution of customer business issues</li>
</ul>Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related technical discipline; advanced degree (MBA) preferred</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast-evolving automotive and semiconductor technology environment</li>
<li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, account management, product marketing, or related customer-facing roles, with a strong track record of results</li>
<li>Proven expertise in semiconductor sales processes, including early-stage customer engagement and design-in strategy</li>
<li>Strong executive communication and influencing skills, with the ability to constructively challenge and drive alignment</li>
<li>Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving capabilities across matrixed organizations</li>
<li>Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to leverage cross-functional expertise to achieve business objectives</li>
<li>High level of personal drive, resilience, and accountability, with a focus on delivering market leadership outcomes</li>
<li>Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 10% or more), including overnight stays</li>

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $177,870 to $257,565.
