Job Title: Foster Care/Adoption Case Manager (Part-Time &rarr; Full-Time Growth Opportunity) Company: Anchor Family Services Location: Rockwall, TX (Dallas Metroplex Travel Required) Job Type: Part-Time (with opportunity to grow into Full-Time) Pay: Hourly, based on experienceJob SummaryAnchor Family Services is seeking a Foster Care/Adoption Case Manager to join our team in a part-time role, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position as caseload grows.This position is ideal for someone with prior Child-Placing Agency experience who is comfortable balancing office responsibilities with fieldwork, including regular travel to foster homes and working directly with children and families.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Facilitate placements of children into foster homes or other appropriate living arrangements</li><li>Conduct regular in-home visits to monitor child safety and well-being throughout the Dallas metroplex</li><li>Maintain consistent communication with children, foster/adoptive families, and stakeholders</li><li>Develop and implement individualized service plans based on each child&rsquo;s needs</li><li>Complete all documentation in compliance with licensing standards, funding requirements, and Texas Department of Family and Protective Services requirements</li><li>Transport yourself and, when necessary, clients to appointments, visits, and services</li><li>Participate in the orientation, assessment, and verification of foster and adoptive families</li><li>Assist with and facilitate foster and adoptive parent training</li><li>Provide ongoing support, guidance, and crisis response as needed</li><li>Ensure children in care receive appropriate services and supports</li></ul>Schedule &amp; Travel Requirements<ul><li>Frequent travel to client homes throughout the Dallas metroplex is required</li><li>Employees should expect to spend a significant portion of time driving to and from visits, trainings, and appointments</li><li>Work hours are not fixed and will vary based on client needs and caseload</li><li>Evening and occasional weekend availability is required</li><li>Position begins part-time, with hours increasing as caseload grows</li><li>Combination of office-based work (Rockwall) and fieldwork</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Must be at least 21 years of age</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Social Work or a related field required</li><li>At least 1 year of foster care or Child-Placing Agency experience preferred</li><li>Strong organizational, documentation, and time management skills</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use</li><li>Reliable transportation, valid Texas driver&rsquo;s license, and current auto insurance</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule</li><li>Must pass all required background checks (DPS, DFPS, FBI)</li></ul>Preferred Experience<ul><li>Previous experience working for a Child-Placing Agency</li><li>Experience supporting foster or adoptive families</li><li>Experience facilitating or assisting with training</li></ul>Why Join Anchor Family ServicesAnchor Family Services is committed to providing safe, stable, and nurturing environments for children in care.
