 This position will be a procurement role with the Garland Team. Daily you will have a parts/suppliers that you will manage, order, count and reconcile.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 The Supply Chain Analyst solves problems within a single value stream, function, or relatively small user base. A minimal portion of this role is transactional, with the majority focus on driving continuous improvement. The Supply Chain Analyst uses tools from DMAIC, PDCA, lean, and six sigma methodologies to identify problems and analyze possible solutions. Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline.

  The hours for this position will be 6am-7am two days per week Tuesday's and Wednesday's and before 8am the remainder of the week. This candidate must be local to the TX area as there is no relocation assistance or sponsorship for this role

  Primary Responsibilities

   Role may be in the areas of planning, scheduling or inventory accuracy. Includes execution of processes, investigating discrepancies, developing corrective actions, with an understanding of business impacts of decisions. Coordinate procurement of material to match demands; communicate with suppliers our requirements and forecast.
  </li>
  <li>
   Drives continuous improvements on daily processes and tactical projects, performing root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for problem across Supply Chain processes.
  </li>
  <li>
   Develop, optimize and integrate detailed business schedules (supplier plans, replenishment models) in a lean environment, to achieve the business goals.
  </li>
  <li>
   Understand and communicate value steam and/or supply chain capacity and constraints.
  </li>
  <li>
   Communicate effectively with supervisors, team leads, and material planner.
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintain relationships with internal and external business partners including suppliers, supervisors and team leads, logistics/warehouse groups and material planners.
  </li>
  <li>
   Utilize lean tools and other business processes such as kanban, spike tools, 5Y, Plan-Do-Check-Act, value stream mapping and A3 thinking.

   Communicate/present lean tool applications such as value stream and process mapping, kaizen and PDCA, value stream mapping, process mapping, and kanban systems.

   3+ years of manufacturing experience in a lean environment.
  </li>
  <li>
   Advanced computer skills with experience with ERP systems, MS Office and reporting systems (Microsoft BI)

   Strong communication skills through written, verbal and presenting to be able to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  </li>
  <li>
   Demonstrated urgency and responsibility for solving and addressing any roadblocks to hitting goals.
  </li>

   Strong aptitude in proactive problem identification and process improvement.

Supply Chain Analyst Procurement

Responsible for ensuring that suppliers develop their process and procedures in line with the design intent of Andersen&rsquo;s Supplier Quality Program Requirements (SQPR) and verify their systems to ensure they are compliant. This includes on-site SQPR audits, PPAP evaluations, CAPA reviews, and supplier change management.</p><p></p><div><div><b><br>
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:</b></div></div><p>
Delivering on all aspects of the Supplier Quality Assurance function in line with our Quality Management System to ensure that supplied products meet Andersen&rsquo;s expectations. Responsible for the development, improvement, and processes of the Supplier Quality Program Requirements. Ensure that defined requirements are met, and procedures are adhered to. Work with high-risk suppliers to develop and implement robust solutions that minimize quality costs through defect prevention and variation reduction. Understanding customer feedback and driving quality improvement in supplied materials.</p><p></p><div><div><b><br>
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></div></div><ul><li><p>
On-going SQPR development/improvement, achieving supporting key metrics for the function and supplier performance.</p></li><li><p>
Work with Engineering (Design and Plant Engineers) teams to define product critical characteristics to ensure supplier process capability is effective.</p></li><li><p>
Support Purchasing with the supplier approval process by assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities.</p></li><li><p>
Support new product launches to ensure suppliers can deliver to the required quality standards.</p></li><li><p>
Manage the root cause analysis and corrective actions process of supplier quality issues.</p></li><li><p>
Perform on-site supplier visits for SQPR audits, root cause analysis, and verification of corrective actions of supplier quality issues.</p></li><li><p>
Review and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain.</p></li><li><p>
Where appropriate work with the supplier directly, create corrective action plans to address process failures.</p></li><li><p>
Promote and practice the use of Andersen&rsquo;s Management System (AMS) for continuous improvement such (process map, process capability, C&amp;E matrix, fishbone diagram, FMEA, MSA, DOE, Gage R&amp;R, control plan).</p></li><li><p>
PPAP approval for purchased salable products.</p></li><li><p>
Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management System and third-party certification program requirements such as NFRC and WDMA.</p></li><li><p>
Uses participative team approach to problem solving and root cause analysis with Associates, Supervisors, Maintenance, Value Stream Managers, Materials Management, R&amp;D and peers.</p></li><li><p>
Collaborates with delivery partners to determine appropriate projects of focus, using available data from observation, queries, process data, and working partner input.</p></li><li><p>
