**$2,000 Sign-on Bonus**Community-based residential facility seeking experienced Medication Technicians/Caregivers to support adults with developmental disabilities, mental health needs, and dementia care. Various shifts available.As a medication technician, you will be:<ul><li>Assisting up to 30 residents with daily medications within the designated timeframes</li><li>Documenting, ordering, and inputting medications into med management software program</li><li>Communicating directly with the nursing team regarding any medication issues or refusals</li><li>Packing medications for residents leaving the facility</li><li>Performing medication counts at the beginning and end of each shift</li><li>Engaging and socializing with residents in an appropriate, respectful, and patient manner while maintaining professional boundaries</li></ul>If you are a patient, caring individual who loves helping people, this is the right job for you. Please apply today for more details.What we require for Medication Technicians:<ul><li>Open Availability Required - at least one weekend day</li><li>A minimum of one (1) year of Med Tech experience in a facility environment</li><li>Current CNA, HCA, or NAR (with 2011 exemption letter) license</li><li>Nurse Delegations: Core &amp; Diabetic</li><li>Dementia, Mental Health, and Developmental Disability Specialty Training</li><li>Current CPR, First Aid, Blood-borne Pathogens Training</li><li>Medication Assistant License (preferred)</li><li>Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US</li><li>Must be able to pass Washington State Criminal Background Check</li></ul>Additional Caregiving Support Includes:<ul><li>Helping clients with daily tasks, dressing, hygiene, cleaning, and laundry</li><li>Engaging and interacting with residents in a respectful manner while maintaining professional boundaries</li><li>Reminding residents of upcoming appointments or outings and assisting them to prepare for the day</li><li>Maintaining daily progress notes and other appropriate documentation</li></ul>Benefits: Attendance Bonus Program &ndash; Earn up to $2,800 each year!
