General Description
<br><br>
Purhasing position will be responsible for purchasing of shop materials. Maintain records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices. Good communication skills are essential as will be working with both internal and external customers.

JOB RESPONSABILITIES AND TASKS
<br><br>
Perform daily operational needs such as purchasing, vendor return processing, inventory requirements and various reporting
<br>Purchase raw materials, maintenance materials, MRO, safety, office supplies and inventoried items
<br>Review minimum and maximum for items and adjust accordingly for optimal stocking levels
<br>Entry of purchase orders in the ERP system and upon receipt, verification of the items received against the purchase order, and track orders for on time delivery
<br>Negotiating Andritz Terms and Conditions as needed for vendor purchases
<br>Addressing vendor quality issues, handling complaints and raw material shortages
<br>Research potential vendors and comparing and evaluating offers from suppliers
<br>Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
<br>Issuing status reports on projects - reporting (weekly reports, statistics, etc.)
<br>Maintain records of purchased parts and outside vendor consumables and submit purchased part reports

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
<br><br>
Experience in all Microsoft Office software. (Advanced Excel skills preferred.)
<br>Experience using an ERP system (SAP/Point Man/Syteline preferred).
<br>Ability to understand and execute verbal instructions coupled with the ability to handle multiple tasks
<br>Will require analytical skills as will be working with financial reports and conduct cost analysis
<br>Understanding of supply chain procedures
<br>Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (research and evaluating)
<br>Must be able to work with shop floor personnel and be able to handle issues as they occur
<br><b>Experience:</b> Previous experience in a plant location manufacturing environment is preferred.

Perform site assessments and evaluate existing instrumentation and control systems to define scope, risks, and technical approach
<br>Specify and select field instrumentation including flow, pressure, temperature, level, density, and analytical measurement devices.
<br>Develop control system designs, including system architecture, control philosophies, and functional specifications (PLC/DCS/SCADA)
<br>Design, configure, and support PLC, DCS, and HMI/SCADA systems, including control logic, interlocks, and alarm management strategies
<br>Prepare and maintain engineering deliverables such as instrument datasheets, material requisitions, control narratives, I/O lists, control system architecture diagrams, and functional design specifications
<br>Coordinate control system integration, including I/O assignments, communications, and interfaces with third-party systems
<br>Support procurement activities by reviewing vendor packages, technical submittals, and FAT documentation
<br>Collaborate with process, electrical, mechanical, and construction teams to ensure alignment between control strategies and system design
<br>Provide field support during construction, commissioning, and start-up, including instrument calibration, system checkout, loop verification, troubleshooting, and performance validation
<br>Develop and execute commissioning and acceptance documentation, including FAT/SAT procedures and system turnover documentation
<br>Ensure control systems are implemented and commissioned in accordance with project requirements, standards, and best practices
<br>Troubleshoot field instrumentation issues and recommend corrective actions.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Automation, or Controls Engineering (or related discipline)
<br>Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in instrumentation and control systems engineering within industrial environments
<br>Strong experience with PLC, DCS, and/or SCADA systems, including configuration, programming, and system integration
<br>Experience specifying and developing instrumentation and control system deliverables such as data sheets, functional design specifications, control narratives, and I/O lists
<br>Proven experience supporting installation, commissioning and start-up of instrumentation and control systems.
