Job Summary: 
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment. This role involves routine cleaning tasks, ensuring hygiene standards are met and assisting the HR in setting up and clean-up of events. The janitor works independently support the overall cleanliness and functionality of the facility.
 
Primary Job Responsibilities & Expectations
 <ul>
<li>Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.</li>
<li>Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms and other common areas.</li>
<li>Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners.</li>
<li>Maintain inventory of cleaning and breakroom supplies.</li>
<li>Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, cups, ect.</li>
<li>Perform minor maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, unclogging drains)</li>
<li>Report major repairs or safety hazards to management.</li>
<li>Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals properly.</li>
<li>Assist HR with set up and clean up of employee events.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications and Experience
 <ul>
<li>Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively</li>
<li>Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects</li>
<li>Knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment</li>
</ul>
