Role Overview</b></h3>
<p>
The Senior Manager of Flight Test Engineering will provide strategic leadership by overseeing both the Flight Test Operations Team and Flight Test Engineering Team at Anduril Industries for Mission Autonomy. This role requires strong technical expertise in software and hardware integration, extensive experience testing unmanned aerial vehicles, and a proven track record leading complex flight test campaigns. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence across test activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize cross-functional collaboration to deliver mission-critical autonomous systems that transform defense capabilities.</p>

What You'll Do</b></h3>
<ul><li>Lead both the Flight Test Operations Team and Flight Test Engineering Team, providing technical guidance and mentorship</li>
<li>Establish and refine flight test methodologies for evaluating mission autonomy capabilities using surrogate vehicles in fast-paced test environments</li>
<li>Develop long-term capacity planning for flight test capabilities to support future product initiatives and company growth</li>

<li>Ensure compliance with FAA, FCC, and other regulatory requirements throughout all flight test operations</li>
<li>Collaborate with government entities and private companies to execute complex test events that meet all stakeholder requirements</li>
<li>Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling for flight test campaigns across multiple programs</li>
<li>Create and implement standardized processes, metrics, and KPIs to measure test effectiveness and drive continuous improvement</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Required Qualifications</b></h3>
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, robotics, or related technical field</li>
<li>10+ years of experience in testing unmanned aerial systems with at least 5 years in a leadership position</li>
<li>Proven expertise in both software and hardware integration for complex autonomous systems</li>
<li>Demonstrated success leading flight test operations as a Test Director for mission-critical platforms</li>
<li>Strong understanding of aviation regulations and compliance requirements for unmanned systems</li>
<li>Experience managing technical teams with diverse skill sets across operations and engineering</li>
<li>Exceptional problem-solving abilities for troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues</li>
<li>Outstanding communication skills for conveying technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels</li>
<li>Flexibility to adapt to dynamic schedules and willingness to travel to test sites as required</li>
<li>Current FAA Part 107 certification or ability to obtain one</li>

This position will be filled a highly motivated Flight Test Engineer with a passion for developmental flight test for our Roadrunner platform. You will work heavily with the program leadership and a wide spectrum of cross-departments to help assist the team focused on solving hard problems and changing the industry forever. The role will be responsible for assisting on planning, coordination, execution and reporting on all facets of the flight test program.<br>

WHAT YOU'LL DO</b></h2>
<ul><li>As a Test and Evaluation (T&amp;E) engineer, you will be responsible for test planning, execution, and reporting</li>
<li>Testing responsibilities encompass system-level evaluation of hardware and software, focusing on executing ground and flight tests, enhancing and developing processes, and engaging in technical test assessments.</li>
<li>Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret test data, identify system behaviors, and drive product enhancements, process improvements</li>
<li>Manage the use of test ranges and coordinate with external agencies to facilitate testing activities</li>
<li>Work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</b></h2>
<ul><li>A bachelor's degree or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and 5+ years of flight test engineering experience</li>
<li>Ability to travel, as required, for planning and testing.</li>
<li>Previous expertise and working knowledge of the National Airspace System and UAS operating rules and regulations thereof</li>
<li>Must have a strong understanding of fundamental flight test processes and principles, with experience demonstrating their application.</li>
<li>Should be able to quickly grasp concepts quick and apply them, efficiently organize and schedule work phases, and have the ability to independently troubleshoot field-related problems at the task level, creating effective solutions.</li>
<li>Strong computer and documentation experience</li>
<li>Must have strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team; able to perform complex tasks in one or more engineering areas</li>

Anduril's Engineering Team is seeking a Mechanical Designer to lead our initiatives in hardware product development.</p>
<p>
As the Mechanical Designer, you will take full ownership of the Engineering Documentation and mechanical drafting for multiple hardware products at Anduril. Your responsibilities will encompass the design and documentation of both Electrical and Mechanical components within assemblies. The ideal candidate for this role possesses extensive experience with CAD systems, BOM management, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, along with a proven ability to rapidly design complex hardware systems. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong focus on manufacturability, industrial design, and the generation of comprehensive engineering documentation, this role is for you.</p>

WHAT YOU'LL DO</b></h4>
<ul><li>Lead the creation and maintenance of detailed Bills of Materials for a set of hardware products, Engineering Change Notice documentation, and traceability of design changes from initial prototype to ongoing production.</li>
<li>Develop detailed dimensional drawings for mechanical, electrical, and optical components to industry standards.</li>
<li>Conduct tolerance build-up analysis and create GD&amp;T drawings.</li>
<li>Serve as the on-site expert on Teamcenter, guiding multiple stakeholders on best practices and various use cases.</li>
<li>Oversee ongoing maintenance and design changes on existing hardware products, ensuring thorough documentation of changes.</li>
<li>Drive the establishment of the Product Lifecycle framework, including engineering design release workflows, data models on parts, and the development of business tool automation driven by engineering releases.</li>
</ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</b></h4>
<ul><li>5+ years of experience in detailed CAD drafting of complex mechanical systems, including structures, mechanisms, fluid systems, and electromechanical systems.</li>
<li>Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where products are manufactured at scale.</li>
<li>Extensive knowledge of standard mechanical and electrical manufacturing processes, including metal molding, forming, joining, machining, complex assembly, additive manufacturing, wire harness fabrication, and printed circuit board fabrication.</li>
<li>3+ years of experience maintaining and enhancing a Product Lifecycle Management system, serving as a 'subject matter expert' for the team/company.</li>
