Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. This role requires proficiency in various nursing practices and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Staff Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients across multiple settings, including acute care, long-term care, and outpatient services.Responsibilities<ul><li>Deliver high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.</li><li>Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.</li><li>Perform critical procedures such as IV infusion, suturing, catheterization, and airway management.</li><li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.</li><li>Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs monitoring and diagnostic evaluations.</li><li>Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and EHR systems.</li><li>Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health management and treatment options.</li><li>Participate in discharge planning and case management to ensure continuity of care.</li><li>Uphold infection control standards while performing procedures such as specimen collection and sterile processing.</li><li>Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Current RN license in the state of practice.</li><li>Experience in critical care, emergency medicine, or hospital settings is preferred.</li><li>Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner is highly desirable.</li><li>Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) and NCQA standards is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support protocols.</li><li>Previous experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities is beneficial.</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.</li><li>Commitment to providing compassionate care while adhering to ethical standards in nursing practice.
