 Job Summary
 
 
 We are looking for a skilled Accountant with 5&ndash;8 years of experience, preferably within an IT
 
 
 services or technology-driven environment. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, project-based accounting, and ensuring compliance and IFRS standards.
 
 
 Strong experience in ERP applications and handling service-based revenue models is essential.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Requirements
 
 
 
 
  Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
 
 
  5&ndash;8 years of UAE accounting experience, preferably in IT services / technology sector
 
 
  Strong hands-on experience with ERP applications (mandatory)
 
 
  Experience in project accounting and service-based revenue recognition
 
 
  Knowledge of IFRS standards (especially revenue recognition &ndash; IFRS 15)
 
 
  Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, financial models)
 
 
  Experience in handling audits and financial compliance
 
 
  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
  Manage general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
 
 
  Handle accounts payable (AP) and receivable (AR), including client invoicing for IT services
 
 
 and AMC contracts
 
 
  Perform project accounting, including cost allocation, revenue tracking, and profitability
 
 
 analysis per project
 
 
  Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
 
 
  Conduct bank reconciliations and manage cash flow
 
 
  Maintain financial data within ERP systems ensuring accuracy and integrity
 
 
  Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
 
 
  Track contract revenue (AMC, SLAs, milestone-based billing)
 
 
  Assist in internal and external audits
 
 
  Monitor operational costs, vendor payments, and subcontractor expenses
 
 
  Prepare MIS reports and financial dashboards for management
 
 
  Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, IFRS, and internal policies
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Preferred Qualifications
 
 
 
 
  Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA (part/fully qualified)
 
 
  Experience with IT contracts, AMC billing, or subscription-based revenue models
 
 
  Familiarity with multi-entity or multi-currency accounting
