Annexa is currently working with DC's Office of the Chief Technology Officer and is seeking a Senior Mainframe Developer to join our team. The Developer must have 16 years of experience maintaining and managing mainframe platforms and their Operating System (z/OS) and Supporting Program Products (such as DB2 and CICS).<br>
<br>
<br>
<b>Responsibilities</b>:</div>
<ul><li>Current experience with installing, upgrading, and applying maintenance/PTFS for DB2using SMPE or z/OSMF (if they meet this requirement, they must feel comfortable navigating within a LPAR using TSO, ISPF, IBM utilities, etc.</li>
<li>Current experience installing and customizing BMC DB2 Utilities and BMC Mainview.</li>
<li>Current experience working with Application DBAs to solve performance problems.Hands-on experiences with installing DB2</li>
<li>V13 with z/OSMF are a plusFamiliarity with CICS V5.6 or later is a plus.</li>
<li>Position will be responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of standards, naming conventions, and ongoing deployment of a multi-data center DB2environment, including disaster recovery, high availability, and data center-relocation projects.</li>
<li>Must have extensive experience with the installation, support, and roll-out of DB2 components, BMC Tools and Utilities, and related products.</li>
<li>Must have complete familiarity with z/OS, TSO/ISPF, and IBM utilities.</li>
<li>Experience with SMP/E, Sysplex environments, and DB2 integration with WLM is desired.</li>
<li>The position will provide technical support to the application and data center staff.</li>
<li>Additional desired skills are Oracle, SQL, z/VM, Linux, and MVS systems; familiarity with the BMC MainView monitoring tool is also desired.</li>
<li>Must have excellent communication and presentation skills. Position will require project leadership in support of data center projects and strategic initiatives.</li>

<ul><li>16+ years of experience leading advanced technology projects or service projects.</li>
<li>16+ years of experience with the full system engineering lifecycle.</li>
<li>16+ years of experience creating implementation/integration plans, test plans, and training materials.</li>
<li>16+ years of experience hands-on in a specific product or IT platform.</li>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.</li>
<li>Industry certification/ training in a specific IT product/ platform or service.</li></ul></div>
