</div></div><div></div><div><b>JOB SUMMARY</b></div>
<div>Perform process and production maintenance throughout the facility. Multicraft Maintenance includes, but not be limited to machine breakdowns, installation and startups, process improvements, preventative maintenance programs and continuous machine improvements, increasing machine reliability and installation of facility capital investments. Responsibilities include electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, plumbing, equipment rebuilding, and mechanical fabrication, reading electrical and mechanical prints, and setting up precision instrumentation.</div>
<div><b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</b></div>
<ul><li>Troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment using a systematic diagnostic approach.</li>
<li>Mechanical:
<ul><li>Repair and maintain mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic components on production machines such as metal fabricating stamping machines, material handling system, automated assembly machines, degreasing equipment, anodizing lines, and conveyor systems.</li>
<li>Repair/replace damaged air, chemical, water and hydraulic pipes on machine and measures, cuts, threads and installs new pipe.</li>
<li>Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems, replace as needed.</li>
<li>Aligns and adjust components on machines to improve or correct machine functionality and part quality.</li>
<li>Sets up and operates metalworking tools such as lathe, drill press or grinder to make or repair parts.</li>
</ul></li><li>Electrical:
<ul><li>Install and repair electrical systems, electric apparatus and components on industrial process machinery and equipment.</li>
<li>Diagnoses malfunctioning equipment such as transformers, motors, rectifiers, instrumentation, wiring, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.</li>
<li>Replace faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches and motors and positions sensing devices.</li>
<li>Bend conduit; install new wiring for sensors, valves, actuators, and other electrical devices used for machine and process control.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot machine controls utilizing a PLC, servo, stepper, and basic relay logic controls.<br>
</li></ul></li><li>Test all repairs and installations for correct functionality and proper performance. Record all work completed in the company asset tracking software, communicating issues, parts used and need to restock components to Maintenance Supervisor.</li>
</ul><div><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b></div>
<ul><li>Strong troubleshooting skills a must</li>
<li>Experience with hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems</li>
<li>Ability to fabricate, including metal fitting, welding, &amp; cutting</li>
<li>Electrical experience with systems from low voltage up to 480V 3 phase</li>
<li>Ability to read/interpret electrical schematics</li>
<li>Instrumentation and PLC troubleshooting and programming skills</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.</li>
<li>Ability to set up and operate metalworking tools such as lathe, drill press or grinder to make or repair parts.</li>
<li>Press machine equipment maintenance experience specifically mechanical transfer or eyelet presses a plus.</li>

<div><b>Reports to:</b> CEO</div>
<div></div><div>The <b><i>Director of Operations</i></b> is a key leadership role in the company with specific responsibility for their flagship facility within the organization&rsquo;s footprint. This site produces all the company&rsquo;s key products in a high-volume/high-mix production environment. The Director of Operations will have full day-to-day responsibility for the facility including full oversight over plant operations over multiple departments. In accordance with top-down commitment from the leadership team, the Director of Operations will be responsible for establishing a high-performance work culture using Lean manufacturing/TPS principals. They will utilize Lean concepts in the development of a problem-solving culture and teach associates how to identify and eradicate waste, and complete root cause analysis to drive daily continuous improvement.</div>

<ul><li>Manage work priorities and timelines and allocate resources to assure assigned plant goals and timelines are met. This includes planning production operations and establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.</li>
<li>Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meet specifications.</li>
<li>Lead and develop a strong daily management process with factory team to deliver on operational KPIs and business financials. Lead, coach and train employees toward Lean manufacturing concepts and foster environment for an empowered, high-performance plant.</li>
<li>Ability to anticipate, negotiate and manage conflicts, problems, changing situations and deadlines.</li>
<li>Strong floor presence: we seek an on-the-floor leader.</li>
<li>Make recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. Execute approved projects on budget and schedule.</li>
<li>Make hire and fire decisions responsibly. Train and develop a team and create a succession plan.</li>
<li>Maintain OSHA, environmental, and other regulatory agency compliance.</li>
<li>Manage work priorities and timelines and allocate resources to assure assigned plant goals and timelines are met.</li>
<li>Prepare operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meet specifications.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE</b></p>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or similar technical field.</li>
<li>Experience in metal stamping, preferably eyelet or progressive, is required.</li>
<li>Experience working/scheduling in a high-volume/high-mix environment.</li>
<li>Strong manufacturing leadership experience in discrete manufacturing environments with demonstrable results. The ideal candidate will have 10&ndash;15 years of work experience and at least five years of experience leading operations teams.</li>
<li>Experience working in businesses with less than $200M in revenue. (Understands idiosyncrasies of mid-sized and/or family-owned / run businesses. Enjoys being able to make an impact more than having big company resources &ndash; big fish / small pond.)</li>
<li>Five-plus years working in strong Lean cultures.</li>
<li>Must have had roles with P&amp;L responsibility and must have working knowledge of budgets and financial statements.</li>
