 Job Purpose:
 
 
 
 To guarantee the quality of Maintenance &amp; Inspection Engineering (MIE) Contractor Inspection and Integrity deliverables for a given package. Must ensure compliance of all MIEC activities with company Specifications, Standards and local legislation.
 
 
 
 The Job Holder Must
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Participate in technical reviews regarding Maintainability &amp; Inspectability of installations during pre-feed, feed, and detailed engineering.
 </li>
 <li>
 Throughout the project, ensure Inspection and Integrity Engineering activities are performed in line with Maintenance &amp; Inspection Engineering contract (MIEC).
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist MIE Contractor Work Package Leaders with regards to Inspection issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review technical documentation as required and provide feedback, using company EDMS (MANASA).
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow-up FOPS Method team clarifications and requests on completed MIE projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate and deliver MIEC offshore scopes, drive site implementation of digitalised solutions for baseline enactment.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications &amp; Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent in engineering.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 8 years&rsquo; experience in the petrochemical, refining, Oil &amp; Gas exploration, or similar industry in Inspection Engineering role.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrable experience of Risk Based Inspection (RBI) preferably in the petrochemical, refining, Oil &amp; Gas exploration
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with CMIMS.
 </li>
 <li>
 Detailed knowledge of legislation/regulations relevant to inspection discipline.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiar with company standards, MANASA and relevant codes and standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluent in English (listening, writing, and speaking) and its technical vocabulary.
 </li>
 <li>
 Computer literate.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good communication and analytical skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work in a complex and multicultural environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Available for missions as necessitated by project.

Inspection Engineer (Maintenance)

 Job Purpose:
 
 
 
 To manage and oversee the preservation of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment during project execution. The role ensures equipment integrity is maintained through effective preservation practices, monitoring, and documentation, supporting a safe and successful project handover.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 Preservation Execution

 Implement and manage the Project Preservation Plan for static and rotating equipment, piping systems, electrical &amp; Instrumentation components, capital spares &amp; special tools.

 System Management
 
 
 <ul>

 Maintain and track equipment logs in a Preservation Management System (PMS) (such as Hexagon, WinPCS, or similar).
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Defect Reporting
 
 
 <ul>

 Monitor environmental conditions (humidity, temperature) and report any deterioration or anomalies to the warehouse and site managers.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Activities
 
 
 <ul>

 Monitor Mechanical and EIT, Capital Spare and Special Tools equipment&rsquo;s storage (short / long term) and perform necessary preservations
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the Preservation related activities are prepared and tracked using system Preservation record sheet and preservation history and records are made available at any time until the equipment is formally transferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure Preservation has been performed correctly and formally recorded into database system.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure tools and equipment&rsquo;s are adequate to achieve expected level of preservation requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Reports on a day-to-day basis directly to the Preservation Lead.

 </ul>
 
 Qualifications &amp; Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
 </li>
 <li>
 5 to 10 years of professional experience, specifically in oil and gas, or large-scale EPC projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Deep understanding of preservation techniques (e.g., Vapour Corrosion Inhibitors (VCI), nitrogen blanketing, protective coatings) and interpretation of material datasheets, good knowledge on Various Preservation practices, Risk &amp; Hazards associated and mitigation measures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good leadership skills and good communication skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good reporting skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Be skilled in using computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets and e-mail communications.
 </li>
 <li>

 Qualifications &amp; Experience

 Proven governance involvement (Design Authority, architecture boards, standards and exception processes).
