Role: Senior Data Engineer Number of Vacancies: 8 Project Location: Abu Dhabi (UAE) Candidate Location: India / Abu Dhabi (UAE) Contract Duration: 3+ Months (Extendable based on client needs) Start Date: Immediate Joiners Preferred Experience Required: 7+ Years Candidate Preference: Open for India &amp; UAE (visa sponsorship available for India candidates) Role Overview Senior Data Engineer The Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and operationalize data platform components, working within cross-functional pods. The role requires strong hands-on skills, collaboration with architects and pod leads, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities <ul> <li>Design, develop, and implement data integration pipelines and models.</li> <li>Build and maintain solutions with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, ADLS, Purview, Erwin Mart, Profisee, Terraform.</li> <li>Develop/optimise data solutions using Python, SQL, and Notebooks.</li> <li>Implement CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps.</li> <li>Modernise data infrastructure and deliver scalable solutions.</li> <li>Implement governance, MDM, and metadata management frameworks.</li> <li>Collaborate with POD Leads, architects, and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.</li> <li>Conduct testing, validation, and performance optimisation.</li> <li>Document solutions and configurations for knowledge transfer.</li> <li>Contribute to support and continuous improvement.</li> </ul> Required Skills &amp; Experience 7+ years in data engineering/data platform development. Hands-on expertise in: <ul> <li>Python &amp; SQL (data engineering, automation)</li> <li>Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, ADLS, Notebooks</li> <li>CI/CD &amp; Azure DevOps</li> <li>Microsoft Fabric</li> <li>Microsoft Purview</li> <li>Profisee (MDM frameworks)</li> <li>Erwin Mart (data modelling, metadata management)</li> <li>Terraform (IaC, automation)</li> </ul> Operational Skills <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of governance, metadata, and compliance frameworks.</li> <li>Experience with large-scale data platform initiatives.</li> <li>Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to work in collaborative, client-facing teams under tight timelines.</li> <li>Immediate availability preferred.</li> <li>Kindly share profiles of suitable candidates along with availability and notice period.</li> </ul>
