 About the Role
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Provide expert clinical care in hematology and transfusion medicine, including complex case management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead and supervise transfusion services, ensuring compliance with international standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Mentor and train junior doctors, fellows, and medical students.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in research and academic activities aligned with hospital strategy.
 </li>

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 Applicants must hold Western Board Certification in Hematology/Transfusion Medicine from one of the following recognized pathways:

 US Board Certification
 </li>
 <li>
 FRCS / MRCP / CCST (UK, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, Australia)
 </li>
 <li>
 Dipl&ocirc;me d&rsquo;&Eacute;tudes Sp&eacute;cialis&eacute;es (DES) / CIS &ndash; French Board
 </li>
 <li>
 Facharzt &amp; Sub‑Board / Fellowship (Germany or equivalent)
 </li>
 <li>
 Post‑Board Fellowship with relevant experience
 </li>
 <li>
 CCST UK &ndash; Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (UK)
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Candidate Profile

 Minimum of 3&ndash;5 years post‑Board/Fellowship experience in hematology and transfusion medicine.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated expertise in transfusion protocols, blood banking, and hematological disorders.
 </li>

 Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Commitment to continuous professional development and patient‑centered care.
 </li>
