We are looking for experienced, self-motivated Construction Safety Managers with demonstrated practical experience representing the Data Center Owner during Data Center construction and renovation. As the owner&rsquo;s Construction Safety Manager, you will have the opportunity to use your practical experience and knowledge to interpret and apply H&amp;S regulatory requirements and best practices to influence and coach on-site contractors.</div><div></div><div><br>
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 -10 years of hands-on H&amp;S experience in construction and be proficient in the management of high-risk activities including ground disturbance, electrical safety, confined space, fall protection, cranes and lifts, and material handling. Experience in evaluating and managing sub-contractors is required. The candidate must also work well in collaborative environments, have strong and confident verbal and written communication skills, be able to work independently, be detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic.</div><div></div><div><br>

Typical job assignments may include but are not limited to:</b></div><ul><li>
Developing, writing, and implementing H&amp;S programs and procedures for construction with support as needed from our consulting team.</li><li>
Interfacing with client employees and contractors to ensure safe processes are being followed in full compliance with regulatory and company procedures.</li><li>
Conducting IH monitoring (air sampling and noise monitoring).</li><li>
Conducting health and safety auditing; requires an understanding of federal OSHA and EPA regulations and how they are applied to construction.</li><li>
Conducting assessments of potential health and safety risks of construction activities.</li><li>
Providing technical guidance on high-risk activities (confined space, fall protection, cranes, lifts, electrical installation, etc.).</li><li>
Developing compliance recommendations based on regulatory understanding and interpretation.</li></ul><div><b>
QUALIFICATIONS</b></div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Occupational Health &amp; Safety, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent training and relevant experience in construction safety or EHS will also be considered.</li><li>
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of EHS experience in a construction environment or strong experience in high-hazard environments.</li><li>
Willingness and availability to travel regionally and/or nationwide.</li><li>
Willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that may include non-traditional work hours.</li><li>
Experience in evaluating and managing sub-contractors is required.</li><li>
Must have a deep understanding of OSHA regulations and their applicability.</li><li>
Must have working knowledge of and ability to implement electrical safety procedures with an understanding of NFPA 70e and the control of hazardous energy sources.</li><li>
Familiarity with NFPA, DOT, EPA, and health &amp; safety regulations.</li><li>
Additional safety training such as OSHA 10 or 30‐hour for Construction or General Industry, 24‐hour or 40‐hour HAZWOPER is a plus.</li><li>
ASP, CSP, CIH, EIT or ARM certification is a plus.</li><li>
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).</li><li>
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.</li><li>
Potential employees must be able to satisfactorily complete a background check, pre-employment drug screening (as permitted by law), and baseline physical (safety sensitive roles). They must also have a valid driver's license and good driving record.</li></ul><div>

Additionally, if you are assigned work in the field at client project sites you will need to complete a medical surveillance/fitness-for-duty examination and maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following:</i></b></div><ul><li>
Medium to heavy work.</li><li>
Subject to outside environmental conditions: heat/cold, wind, wet and/or humidity, etc.</li><li>
Occasional stooping (bending body downward and forward), kneeling (bending legs at knee), crouching (bending body downward and forward) and climbing.</li><li>
Frequent lifting (including push/pull, hold/carry) of light, moderate and possibly heavy weight objects.</li><li>
Subject to hazards, including a variety of physical conditions, including but not limited to: proximity to moving vehicles, parts or equipment; exposure to chemicals; pressure (including noise); electrical hazards; biological hazards; excavation/trenching; confined spaces; elevated work; materials handling.</li><li>
May be required to wear an air purifying respirator.</li></ul><div><b>
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS</b></div><div>
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $105,000-$145,000. Compensation will vary depending on the applicant&rsquo;s job-related knowledge and skills, education, and work experience.</div><div></div><div><br>
