PRIMARY FUNCTION :</b></div><div>
We are seeking a Junior Multimedia Designer to support the creation of compelling visual content across digital channels. This role is ideal for someone with 1 to 3 years of experience who has a strong foundation in graphic design and is also comfortable editing video. The right candidate is creative, detail-oriented and excited to work across static, motion and short-form content in a fast-paced environment.</div>
Responsibilities:
<p><b>
Primary:
</b></p><ul><li>Design digital creative assets for paid social media, email, web and other marketing channels</li><li>
Create on-brand graphics, layouts and visual content that align with campaign objectives</li><li>
Edit short-form videos for social platforms, including resizing, captioning, light motion graphics and basic animations</li><li>
Adapt creative for different platform specifications and audience needs</li><li>
Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop engaging content</li><li>
Support the development of visual concepts for campaigns, launches and ongoing brand storytelling</li><li>
Organize and manage design files, templates and creative assets</li><li>
Incorporate feedback and make revisions in a timely manner while maintaining high design standards</li><li>
Stay current on social content trends, platform best practices and emerging creative formats.</li></ul><div><i>

Qualifications:
<p><b>
Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro</li><li>
Understanding of typography, layout, color and brand systems</li><li>
Experience creating content optimized for video platforms</li><li>
Familiarity with After Effects, CapCut or other motion and video editing tools is a plus</li></ul><div></div><p><b><br>
Other preferred qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>
Experience designing within established brand guidelines</li><li>
Basic motion graphics or animation skills</li><li>
Experience with short-form storytelling and social-first creative</li><li>
Familiarity with Figma or other digital design tools</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>

Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills</li><li>
Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines</li><li>

Work Experience:</b></div><br>

The ideal candidate has professional experience in graphic design, multimedia design or digital content creation and is able to provide a strong portfolio that showcases their graphic design work and some video or motion content, especially for social media.</li></ul><div></div><p><b><br>
Education:</b></p><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in graphic design, visual communications, multimedia design, digital media or a related field, or equivalent experience.</li></ul><p><b><br>
Work Environment:</b></p><ul><li>
Additional hours required as necessary to manage workload</li><li>
ADL is a hybrid environment; this role will require 3 days in the office.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Compensation:</b></div><ul><li>
This position has a salary range of $65,000 to $72,000. This salary range is reflective of a position based in (New York, NY). Please note that actual salaries are commensurate with experience and reflect the budget for a given position, and since ADL has a location-based compensation structure, there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
