With automation, analytics, and seamless API integrations, we&rsquo;re redefining how brands communicate at scale.</li></ul>Your RoleAs a Legal Advisor, you will provide end-to-end legal counsel across corporate governance, fintech/payment laws, telecommunications, data protection, and compliance matters. You will be the go-to advisor for regulatory, contractual, and licensing frameworks that impact our business.Responsibilities<ul><li>Advise management on Companies Act, RBI, NPCI, PSS Act, PPI Directions, UPI guidelines, KYC/AML regulations (Payfin).</li><li>Advise on TRAI, DoT, DLT regulations, Telecommunication Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations (TCCCPR), IT Act, and messaging/data protection laws (Chitchat).</li><li>Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements, including board resolutions, statutory filings, and regulatory approvals.</li></ul>Contracts &amp; Agreements<ul><li>Draft, review, and negotiate contracts: NDAs, vendor agreements, MoUs, partnership agreements, bank contracts.</li><li>Standardize fintech-specific templates (escrow, payment gateway, API partnerships) and CPaaS-specific templates (messaging aggregator agreements, enterprise SLAs, interconnect agreements).</li></ul>Intellectual Property &amp; Data Protection<ul><li>Oversee IP-related matters: copyright, trademarks, and service agreements.</li><li>Ensure data protection compliance under IT Act, 2000, upcoming Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act), and GDPR-equivalent obligations.</li><li>Provide legal input on consumer protection laws, especially in B2C communication contexts.</li></ul>Licensing &amp; Regulatory Liaison<ul><li>Handle licensing under NPCI (TPAP, PA) for Payfin.</li><li>Ensure compliance with telecom licensing obligations, TRAI&rsquo;s UCC framework, and messaging regulations for Chitchat.</li><li>Liaise with regulators (RBI, NPCI, TRAI, DoT), banks, and external counsel for approvals/clarifications.</li></ul>Risk &amp; Dispute Management<ul><li>Identify legal risks in business models and propose mitigation strategies.</li><li>Manage litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution (both fintech and telecom-related).</li><li>Support compliance/risk teams to ensure 360&deg; legal coverage.</li></ul>Must Have<ul><li>Strong understanding of corporate law, fintech/payment regulations (RBI, NPCI, PSS Act), and telecom regulations (TRAI, DLT, DoT licensing, IT Act).</li><li>Proven experience in contract negotiation, drafting, and dispute resolution.</li><li>Ability to balance compliance with business growth needs.</li><li>Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.</li><li>High integrity, confidentiality, and a solution-driven mindset.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>LLB (Bachelor of Law) or LLM (Master of Law).</li><li>3&ndash;7 years of experience as a Legal Advisor / Counsel (preferably in fintech, BFSI, telecom, or corporate law firms).</li><li>Experience in payments, telecom licensing, banking partnerships, and startup advisory is a plus.</li></ul>Why Join Us?<ul><li>Be part of a fintech + CPaaS startup shaping India&rsquo;s digital ecosystem.</li><li>Work closely with founders, investors, regulators, and banks.</li><li>Opportunity to set up a legal &amp; governance framework from the ground up.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;50,000.00 - &#8377;100,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Internet reimbursement</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Ability to commute/relocate:<ul><li>JP NAGAR 1ST PHASE, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>What is your current location? </li></ul>Have you worked in either/or fintech or telecommunication Industry?
