Role Summary

• You will join Arvind Limited — Essentials as Dy. Manager - Machine Mech in the General Management department, working onsite in a core garmenting setup.
• The role focuses on supporting machine maintenance and mechanical reliability for sewing machines and high-tech garmenting machines.
• You will help ensure equipment uptime, safe operations, and production continuity through preventive and corrective maintenance support.
• This role is suited to an experienced professional with hands-on exposure to garmenting machinery and a practical approach to day-to-day machine support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the upkeep and smooth functioning of sewing machines and high-tech garmenting machines across the assigned area.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities to reduce breakdowns and improve equipment availability.
• Attend corrective maintenance issues, diagnose mechanical faults, and restore machines to service in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with production and related teams to minimize downtime and support uninterrupted garmenting operations.
• Monitor machine condition, identify recurring issues, and recommend practical improvements for reliability.
• Maintain maintenance records, service logs, and inspection documentation with accuracy and discipline.
• Follow safety, quality, and maintenance standards while ensuring compliance with site procedures.
• Support troubleshooting during operational issues and contribute to continuous improvement in machine performance.
