Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Assisting Mechanics: Providing hands-on support to senior mechanics during complex repairs and maintenance procedures.</li><li>Routine Maintenance: Performing basic services like oil changes, tire repairs, and fluid checks on vehicles and equipment.</li><li>Inspections: Conducting thorough vehicle and equipment inspections to identify potential problems and necessary repairs.</li><li>Part Management: Ordering, receiving, organizing, and tracking parts to ensure proper inventory levels for repairs.</li><li>Cleaning and Organization: Keeping the work area, tools, and equipment clean and well-maintained to ensure a safe and efficient environment.</li><li>Safety Compliance: Strictly following all safety procedures, guidelines, and rules for handling tools, equipment, and hazardous materials.</li><li>Record Keeping: Accurately documenting maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for record-keeping purposes.</li><li>Skill Development: Proactively learning and developing new skills, keeping up with new automotive technologies, and seeking opportunities to advance to more complex roles.</li></ul>Essential Skills and Physical Requirements<ul><li>Mechanical Aptitude: Possessing strong mechanical skills and an understanding of vehicle systems to perform tasks effectively.</li><li>Physical Stamina: The ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing, often in various weather conditions.</li><li>Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with and the ability to safely operate a variety of hand, power, and diagnostic tools.</li><li>Problem-Solving: Good analytical and problem-solving skills to assist in diagnosing issues and executing repairs.</li><li>Communication: Clear communication skills to effectively interact with mechanics, supervisors, and potentially customers.</li><li>Attention to Detail: A strong ability to pay attention to details during inspections, maintenance, and repairs.</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Assistant mechanics may work in garages, repair shops, or other facilities that service vehicles and mechanical equipment.</li><li>They can expect to work with a variety of tools, machinery, and sometimes hazardous materials.</li><li>Physical demands may include exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, and noise, as well as working in cramped spaces or at heights</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, FresherPay: &#8377;9,000.00 - &#8377;12,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Cell phone reimbursement</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
