We are looking for Professionals who intend to specialize in Business Development/Sales &amp; CRM.Role SummaryThe role of a Data Analyst broadly outlines turning data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions.Job OverviewA Data Analyst is responsible for overseeing our data systems and reporting frameworks, guaranteeing the integrity and precision of data. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into structured information, which will then be analysed to gain insights that drive strategic business decisions. This position encompasses a comprehensive analysis lifecycle, covering requirement gathering, activity execution, and design planning. Data analysts are tasked with enhancing analytical and reporting functions, as well as supervising performance and quality assurance processes to pinpoint areas for enhancement.Specific tasks and Responsibilities<ul><li>Gather data from primary and secondary sources, ensuring the upkeep of databases and data systems.</li><li>Detect, examine, and decode trends or patterns within intricate datasets.</li><li>Cleanse data captured through sources like government EXIM data, Pharma Compass, Dollar Business (EXIM), and Volza. Scrutinize information and output to identify and rectify coding errors.</li><li>Coordinate with Sales &amp; Marketing teams and the management to align business and informational priorities.</li><li>Identify opportunities for business enhancements.</li><li>Employ statistical techniques to scrutinize data and produce actionable business insights.</li><li>Collaborate with the functional team to determine and rank the needs of different business units.</li><li>Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision-making across departments.</li><li>Convey insights through both reports and visual presentations.</li><li>Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to understand business requirements.</li><li>Engage with managers from various departments to specify data requirements for analysis projects tailored to their unique business processes.</li></ul>Skills and Qualifications<ul><li>Possess a strong acumen in statistics and practical experience with statistical software (such as Excel, SPSS, SAS) and other business dashboards tools like Power BI , Tableau etc.</li><li>Exhibit exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness.</li><li>Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights.</li><li>Demonstrate superior communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background.</li><li>A bachelor's degree in Pharma, Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a comparable discipline is preferred, with prior experience in data analysis or a related field being advantageous.</li></ul>Additional Requirements<ul><li>Adept at report writing and presenting findings.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>A deep understanding of the Pharma industry and Trading Business operations is a plus.</li></ul>Reporting:The position Reports primarily to the Business Head &amp; Director.Work Location &ndash; Kolkata, IndiaExpected On Boarding Time &ndash; within 30 days or as soon as possible.Compensation &ndash; Competitive with a good mix of Fixed &amp; Variable pay, Based on the Experience &amp; Industry Norms.Job Type: Full-timePay: ₹8,894.80 - ₹20,256.13 per monthWork Location: In person
