Sr Production Engineer- Network Modelling- Cairo, Egypt.</p><p>
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Engineer specializing in modelling oil and gas networks. This role will focus on designing, optimizing, and simulating the operation of oil and gas infrastructure networks, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and safety. The ideal candidate will have expertise in network modelling, reservoir engineering, production systems, and a deep understanding of the oil and gas industry.</p><div>
Duties and responsibilities:<br>
 Network Modelling &amp; Simulation:<br>
<ul><li>Develop, maintain, and update nodal based models for oil and gas production networks, including pipelines, gathering systems, and facilities.</li><li>Use advanced software tools (e.g., IPM, PipeSim, OLGA, PVTsim) to simulate the performance and behavior of oil and gas production systems.</li><li>Work closely with Reservoir Engineering to creating fully integrated model for gas forecasting and field performance.</li><li>Perform sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of different operational parameters on network performance.</li></ul></div><div>
Production Optimization / Operational Support:<br>
<ul><li>Optimize production operations by analyzing network performance and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve throughput.</li><li>Collaborate with production teams to develop strategies for improving oil and gas recovery while minimizing operational costs.</li><li>Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements in network operations.</li><li>Provide technical support during field operations, troubleshooting issues and recommending corrective actions based on modeling outputs.</li><li>Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to network performance, including production rates, pressure drops, and flow assurance.</li></ul></div><div>
System Design and Integration:<br>
<ul><li>Contribute to the design of production systems, landing pressure at facilities, and infrastructure ensuring optimal integration and performance for current and future wells.</li><li>Assist in the selection and specification of equipment such as pumps, compressors, and valves for optimal performance within the network.</li></ul>
Collaboration and Reporting:<br>
<ul><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams, including reservoir engineers, geologists, and field operators, to ensure that network models align with real-world production conditions and optimization goals.</li><li>Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.</li></ul></div></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Qualifications &amp; Experience</b></h2></div><div><div>
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:<br>
<ul><li>8-10 years of experience in Petroleum Engineering related disciplines, with a minimum of 3 years of direct experience in Oil &amp; Gas Network modelling and optimization.</li><li>Bachelor degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline; preferably chemical, mechanical or petroleum engineering.</li><li>Hands-on experience with IPR/VLP and network simulation and modeling software (e.g., IPM Suite, PipeSim, OLGA, PVTsim, etc.).</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, as well as optimization techniques.</li><li>Familiarity with the operation and troubleshooting of production systems in oil and gas environments</li><li>Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and reporting</li></ul></div></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>

Production Engineer Sr-Network Modelling

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Avocet System Administrator to manage and support the Avocet Production Operations Software within our oil and gas operations. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity, availability, and performance of production data systems, supporting both field and office teams in achieving operational excellence.<br>

Key Responsibilities:<br>
System Administration &amp; Support<br>
<ul><li>Install, configure, and maintain Avocet software and its components.</li><li>Manage Avocet server infrastructure including Web Client, ClickOnce deployments, SQL Server Reporting Services, and analytics data cubes.</li><li>Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.</li></ul>
Data Management &amp; Integration<br>
<ul><li>Ensure seamless data flow between Avocet and other systems (e.g., SCADA, OFM, Petrel, Well view, Foresight, PI-vision).</li><li>Support data exchange utilities and integrations with databases for future projects and integration with SAP or Oracle for costing optimization.</li></ul>
Data Integrity &amp; Quality Assurance<br>
<ul><li>Implement and maintain data validation rules and workflows to ensure accuracy of production data and the alignment with plans</li><li>Conduct regular audits of field and office data entries to identify inconsistencies or anomalies.</li><li>Collaborate with field teams to resolve data discrepancies and improve data entry practices.</li><li>Develop and maintain documentation for data standards, processes, and quality control measures.</li></ul>
Security &amp; Compliance<br>
<ul><li>Enforce data security protocols and access controls to protect sensitive operational data.</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal and industry data governance policies.</li></ul>
User Support &amp; Training<br>
<ul><li>Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to Avocet users.</li><li>Develop training materials and conduct workshops for field and office personnel.</li></ul>
System Enhancement &amp; Upgrades<br>
<ul><li>Conduct system integrity reviews to identify obsolete features and recommend improvements.</li><li>Plan and execute Avocet upgrades, including testing, deployment, and user training.</li></ul></div></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Qualifications &amp; Experience</b></h2></div><div><p>
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:</p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Petroleum Engineering .</li><li>Minimum +10 years of experience in system administration, in the oil and gas industry.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Avocet software and production data systems.</li><li>Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Windows Server, and network infrastructure.</li><li>Familiarity with oil and gas production workflows and data types.</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
