Job DescriptionWe are seeking for a Maintenance Office for our client. This is for Advanced-Level Maintenance Supervisors with the expertise, training, and leadership skills to oversee maintenance operations and supervise a team of up to five inmates. This position requires a high level of responsibility, including ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining efficient operations.$1,000 Sign on BonusKey Responsibilities<ul><li>Supervise up to five (5) inmates during maintenance tasks, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to guidelines.</li><li>Perform advanced maintenance tasks and provide technical expertise to the team.</li><li>Monitor and enforce compliance with safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).</li><li>Plan, delegate, and oversee daily maintenance operations to meet organizational goals.</li><li>Drive and operate commercial vehicles with air brakes as required for maintenance activities.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment usage, and inmate performance.</li><li>Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments using cell phone and other designated methods.</li><li>Wear a uniform identifying the supervisory role and serve as the primary point of contact during maintenance operations.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Certification: Must be a state-certified correction officer.</li><li>Experience:</li><li>Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a correction officer.</li><li>Minimum of one (1) year of experience driving a commercial vehicle.</li><li>License: Valid Class B Driver&rsquo;s License with air brake endorsement.</li><li>Certification: Advanced Level Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) certification.</li><li>Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing, and working in various environmental conditions.</li></ul>Skills and Attributes<ul><li>Proven leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of maintenance practices, tools, and machinery.</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills to oversee operations and prioritize tasks.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to coordinate with inmates, staff, and management.</li><li>High level of professionalism and adherence to safety and correctional standards.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Competitive compensation and opportunities for career advancement.</li><li>Ongoing training and support to enhance leadership and technical skills.</li><li>A chance to play a critical role in maintaining vital infrastructure and ensuring safety.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Chiefland, FL 32626 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
