Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Provide direct patient care in a Med-Surg, Telemetry, or Progressive Care Unit (PCU)</li><li>
Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs, responding promptly to clinical changes</li><li>
Administer IV medications and perform titration of cardiac drips as indicated</li><li>
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans</li><li>
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams</li><li>
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation</li><li>
Supervise nursing assistants and support staff as needed</li></ul> 
Qualifications<ul><li>

Minimum 2+ years of recent Med-Surg, Telemetry, or PCU experience required</li><li>

Provide nursing care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures</li><li>
Assist physicians with procedures including colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, and other GI interventions</li><li>

Administer and monitor conscious sedation and assess patient response</li><li>
Monitor vital signs and patient status during procedures and recovery</li><li>
Maintain infection prevention and safety standards</li><li>
Document procedures, medications, and patient care accurately in the EMR</li><li>
Collaborate with gastroenterologists, anesthesia providers, and endoscopy team members</li></ul>
