What You Will Do: 
The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for leading API Basco Schmidt&rsquo;s marketing and product development strategies. This senior role reports directly to the VP/GM and will play a pivotal part in driving our company's growth and success by overseeing the development and execution of product-marketing initiatives and ensuring our product portfolio remains competitive and innovative.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and product management strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.

2. Segmentation and Target Identification: Analyze vertical markets and adjacencies, estimate opportunities and working with sales, develop strategic growth targets.

3. Product Portfolio Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, develop and maintain roadmaps, gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, define the product vision, develop and implement channel strategies and work collaboratively to deliver an end-user driven innovative product portfolio from ideation to launch to retirement.

4. Subject Matter Expert: The Product Marketing Manager is expected to become the &ldquo;market expert&rdquo; within the business. He/she is responsible for market research, identifying trends, understanding the customer&rsquo;s current and future requirements (VOC) and the competitive environment to inform product and marketing strategies.

5. &ldquo;Hub and Spoke&rdquo; Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Procurement and Operations, to ensure alignment and successful execution of marketing and product initiatives. Build and lead a high-performing cross-functional teams, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability across all departments.

6. Pricing and Gross Margin: Monitor and manage product pricing, cost structures, and gross margins to ensure profitability targets are met. Implement pricing strategies initiatives to maximize gross margin.

7. Digital Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with API Marketing to develop and execute a robust digital marketing strategy, including WEB, SEO, social media, email marketing, and content marketing, to increase Basco Schmidt visibility, drive online engagement and lead generation.

8. Digital Tools: Develop roadmap, align, steer and where appropriate administer digital tools for product selection, quoting, CRM, etc&hellip;

9. Sales and Marketing Campaigns: Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, sales leads, and product performance, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
10. Budget Management: Manage the marketing and product management budget effectively, ensuring the allocation of resources aligns with strategic priorities.

11. Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate marketing and product development updates, strategies, and results to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
12. Project Management of New Products: Champion approved plans following the NPI process.

13. Sales Tools and Training Courses: Create tools and training to educate and train internal and external sales teams to enable them to successfully position our products.

14. Sales Operations: Utilizing Salesforce, analyze sales data and trends to provide valuable inputs for pricing, product and channel decisions. Ensure Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) are followed through the sales process, identify when sales qualified (SQL) and evolve marketing strategy.

15. Content Creation: Coordinate and create content as required to support Sales and Marketing efforts.

<ul><li>3 plus years of experience in product management including marketing, innovation, and strategy or equivalent experience</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience in B2B environment.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Excellent multi-tasking, project management, and prioritization skills</li></ul>
<ul><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to translate data into actionable insights, strong analytical skills and passion for knowing the business</li></ul>
<ul><li>Strong personal presence and experience influencing internal and external partners</li></ul>
<ul><li>Heat Exchanger industry experience a plus</li></ul>
<ul><li>Excellent working knowledge of applications including Salesforce, Excel, Power Point, Word and Microsoft Project</li></ul>
<ul><li>Creative thinker and problem solver with a passion for brand strategy</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to develop and cultivate relationships</li></ul>
<ul><li>Travel +/- 15%</li></ul>
