Apogee is actively seeking a full-time <b>Systems Test Engineer</b> supporting US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&amp;I).</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Program: </b>The SE&amp;I Division serves as the principal enterprise systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and technical authority for the NC3 Enterprise within the Department of Defense. As the lead NC3 Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&amp;I) arm of the NC3 Enterprise Center, the division applies and remains up to date on systems engineering best practices and translates mission and operational requirements into appropriate technical specifications and solutions. SE&amp;I also has the responsibility to apply established standards and, when necessary, develop new standards to ensure seamless interoperability across the NC3 enterprise. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity at Fort Meade.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Work with proprietary software to perform vulnerability, analytical, and technical assessments on NC3 systems. Execute tests to determine network performance, voice and video quality, and overall communications and backup system effectiveness in unclassified and classified environments (to TS/SCI).</li><li>
Based on test results perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for test case failures.</li><li>
Using proprietary software, conduct tests to determine performance of NC3 communication systems, including secure and non-secure voice, data, and video communications services for classified and unclassified environments</li><li>
Provide specialized engineering, test, and evaluation assistance, and develop and/or leverage, integrate, and modify existing (i.e., GOTS or COTS) tools</li><li>
Assist in refinement of the video testing solution, test cases, test procedures, test plans, data analysis methodologies, and video and network performance testing.</li></ul>
Qualifications:

Minimum Experience:</b></div><div><b>
Citizenship: </b>Must be a US citizen<br>
<b>Clearance: </b>Must possess an active Top Secret clearance with willingness to be nominated for SCI at the time of application.<br>
<b>Education: </b>Technical Bachelors of Science degree in one of the following fields: Engineering, Computer Science, or an educational equivalent.<br>
<b>Years of Experience: </b>15 years of relevant experience in <b>Testing &amp; Evaluation to include:</b></div><ul><li>
Experience developing and executing test plans, procedures, and test cases.</li><li>
Background in root cause analysis (RCA) methodologies.</li><li>
Ability to work with and, as required, modify automated test workflows written in proprietary test tools.</li><li>
Familiarity with data collection and analysis methodologies</li><li>
Providing tests and evaluations of hardware and/or software development.</li><li>
Developing and documenting test plans and procedures, conducting testing, and evaluating and documenting results.</li><li>
Preparing studies, plans, and analyses in support of a program.</li></ul><div><b>

Experience testing and evaluating the effectiveness of systems continuity of operations.</li><li>
Experience understanding and maintaining systems configurations in classified lab environments.</li></ul><ul><li>

Systems Test Engineer

<div>Overview:
<div>
Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a <b>Network Communications Lead </b>to support the Headquarters Air Force Global Strike Command (HQ AFGSC), which provides logistics, communications, and operational support to bed-down management activities to Major Command and Installation-level organizations in support of the B-21 bomber.</div><div></div><div><br>
SATAF PIO provides advisory and assistance support to HQ AFGSC to help meet bed-down requirements. This support will include expertise in nuclear deterrence and global strike operations, military civil engineering, organizational structure and performance, test, nuclear surety, development processes, training, and B-21 weapons systems bed-down. Duties include guiding the installation through the bed-down process, supporting the cross-functional team during facility site visits, advising the team, tracking milestones, and developing repeatable processes and checklists to ensure all basing actions are completed.</div><div></div><div><br>
This is a full-time onsite position located at Ellsworth AFB in Rapid City, SD.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Supports PIO, HQ AFGSC, and DOD bed-down of B-21 efforts as they pertain to all communications and information technology and their infrastructure.</li><li>
Participates in design and execution of Network/Information Technology (IT) bed-down, provides analysis and reports on status, risks, and proposed solutions.</li><li>
Works with and provides guidance to host wing, PIO, HQ AFGSC, and DoD Communication/IT professionals to ensure compliance, effectiveness, timeliness, and security of communications bed-down. Generates reports when requested to support this advice.</li><li>
Provide conference and meeting support, such as facilitating meetings, graphic support, study materials, locating available conference rooms, invitations, stakeholder involvement, community relations, risk communication, etc., as approved by the Government.</li><li>
Provide administrative support such as documenting program files and processes, organizing files/records and providing administrative support, such as regulatory and partnering sessions.</li><li>
Advise the Government on validity, feasibility, achievability, and efficiency of proposed projects based on constraints in scheduling, cost, manpower, etc.</li><li>
Travel as required to support AFGSC; complete trip reports within five calendar days upon return.</li><li>
Track milestones, build, &amp; refine products &amp; deliverables.</li><li>
The contractor shall develop, plan, and coordinate processes, tracking tools, and checklist(s), for direct implementation on all PIO actions.</li><li>
Knowledge and understanding of national, DoD, and U.S. Air Force statutory and regulatory policies, directives, and procedures relating to logistics and operations activities.</li><li>
Ability to gather, assemble, and analyze facts, draw conclusions, conduct analysis, devise recommended solutions, and package the entire process in briefings, papers, or reports suitable for executive use and decision-making.</li><li>
Skilled in oral communications necessary to inform the leadership of program changes, to make presentations to management of a complex nature, and to lead and serve effectively on process teams.</li><li>
Skilled in written communications to allow effective articulation of assigned tasks and publication of new and updated products.</li><li>
Experience navigating Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router and Secure Internet Protocol Router type IT systems.</li><li>
Must be able to work in a team environment and independently with limited supervision all while developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.</li></ul>
