Position Summary</div><div>
The Corporate Communications Manager will play a critical role in shaping and delivering the company&rsquo;s narrative across all key audiences both internal and external&mdash;employees, media, investors, and the public. This strategic communicator will lead the development and execution of integrated communications initiatives that strengthen the company&rsquo;s brand, culture, and reputation in alignment with corporate goals. This role requires excellent communications skills, strategic vision, and tactical execution to develop and deliver a wide range of communications. This role will collaborate with stakeholders across the enterprise, and with external parties, to achieve communications objectives and build an internal communications operating system and strategy for the Company.</div><div>
Responsibilities</div><div>
Corporate Communications</div><ul><li>
Partner across the Company to build a communications strategy to support company-wide goals and build positive awareness with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>
Partner with leaders on a wide range of employee communication programs to craft the communication strategy for company strategies and initiatives, and organizational transformation.</li><li>
Lead planning and content creation for Apogee announcements, executive messaging, newsletters, and town halls.</li><li>
Partner with the VP of IR to support media relations and proactively manage company reputation in the press; draft and distribute press releases and talking points.</li><li>
Partner with Investor Relations and Legal teams on earnings communications, SEC-related announcements, and public disclosures.</li><li>
Oversee consistent messaging across digital and social channels; collaborate with marketing and brand teams to align messaging.</li></ul><ul><li>
Design and deploy a communications operating system in partnership with the Segment brands to ensure role clarity and support of business outcomes. This includes partnering with functions/departments around the enterprise ( e.g., AMS, EHS, HR, Legal, IT, etc.).</li></ul><ul><li>
Oversee and develop content calendar and approvals in support of the communication plan, with schedule/timeline, cadence, objectives, and channels defined.</li><li>
Create engaging and effective content for internal communications, across a variety of communications channels such as newsletters, presentations, posters, videos, leadership communications, broad email communications, etc.</li><li>
Gather content from around the Company, write and/or edit content to gather and share news and updates.</li><li>
Assist and support executive communications (keynote address/presentation, speeches, etc.) Provide communications support for special situations such as crisis management and change management.</li><li>
Recommend and manage third party vendors to support Apogee&rsquo;s communications programs.</li></ul><div></div><div>
Maintain Apogee brand and graphic standards, with supporting tools and templates, to ensure a consistent, professional image for all communication materials.</div><ul><li>
Partner with Segment resources to influence, support, and ensure communications represent the Apogee and the individual brands/segments when appropriate.</li><li>
Ensure visual brand consistency. Provide oversight of brand and digital assets for proper standards, process, and governance, including trademark and registrations.</li><li>
Defines the brand voice (ensuring all messaging reflects the company&rsquo;s values, tone, and positioning).</li></ul><div></div><div>
Education &amp; Qualifications</div><ul><li>
Four-year degree in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, or related.</li><li>
Minimum of eight years of experience in corporate communications, with some experience managing a communications strategy.</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Experience working with graphic design software tools such as Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and HTML.</li><li>
Experience developing PowerPoint presentations.</li><li>
Demonstrated use of communication channels, technologies, and supporting third party vendors, including websites, social media, video communications, and print media.</li><li>
Demonstrated creativity and the ability to develop interesting, and engaging communication materials.</li><li>
Excellent organizational and project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.</li><li>
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.</li><li>
Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.</li><li>
Curiosity and a passion for learning. Able to gain a deep understanding of the company, its industry, and customers.</li><li>
Able to work across all levels of the organizations, including with senior leaders.</li><li>
Organizational change management experience preferred.</li></ul><div></div><div>
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - 125,000.</div><div></div><div>
Travel Requirements</div><ul><li>
