Apollo Security Group is seeking a dependable Logistics Security Officer to join our team! In this role, you will play a critical part in the secure and efficient flow of inbound and outbound truck traffic at a busy logistics hub.The position is full-time, with a regular schedule of Monday through Friday from 2pm - 10pm (Mid Shift).Responsibilities:<ul><li>Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to prevent unauthorized access.</li><li>Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including warehouses, docks, and surrounding areas, to identify and address security or safety concerns.</li><li>Oversee and enforce security procedures for shipping and receiving operations, including verification of documentation and inspection of vehicles when required.</li><li>Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, following established protocols to ensure safety.</li><li>Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.</li><li>Support company policies by enforcing rules and regulations in a professional manner.</li><li>Provide assistance and customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors as needed.</li><li>Collaborate with management and law enforcement, if necessary, during investigations or incidents.</li></ul>Work Schedule:<ul><li>Mid-shift position (2pm - 10pm).</li><li>Flexibility for additional hours, weekends, or holidays may be required.</li></ul>Qualifications:&middot; Must be at least 18 years old&middot; High school diploma or GED&middot; Valid GA 24HR Certification&middot; Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation&middot; Previous security or logistics experience preferred but not required&middot; Strong communication and observation skills&middot; Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work in outdoor conditionsWhy work with Us?&middot; Competitive Wage/ Weekly Pay&middot; Training and development opportunities&middot; Supportive leadership and team environment&middot; Be part of a growing company with a focus on excellence in securityWhy Join Us: As a Logistics Security Officer, you play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment that allows our operations to run smoothly.
