<b>Overview:</b><br>
The Support Analyst will provide technical/analytical expertise for project coordination and network related problem resolution, and for assisting users in assessing computing needs while maintaining positive relationships through the system.
<br><br>
<b>Responsibilities:</b><br>
Provide microcomputer/network expertise to users of ARH Information Systems.
<br><br>
Assist manager of department in preparing work plans/recommendations and assist with project tasks.
<br><br>
Troubleshoot hardware and software throughout the system.
<br><br>
Assess users needs for hardware and software as requested.
<br><br>
Develop and maintain user documentation when required.
<br><br>
Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field so they can recommend new services, products and equipment. Continue professional development by attending education programs designed for specialty areas.
<br><br>
Analyze the feasibility of purchasing/developing microcomputer based applications (non-clinical/non-financial) to meet specific needs. This may include the evaluation of software products.
<br><br>
Must be available to travel as requested.
<br><br>
Perform other duties as requested.

<b>Qualifications:</b><br>
Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field with minimum of three (3) years related experience or

Minimum of five (5) years related experience.
<br><br>
PLUS
<br><br>
Demonstrated Network experience and knowledge of basic functional desktop applications such as wordprocessing, spreadsheet, graphics, and desktop publishing software required.
<br><br>
Must possess ability to handle multiple projects involving stressful situations, be flexible and a team player as well as possessing excellent interpersonal and organizational skills in a very fast-paced environment.

Support Analyst

The ER Assistant through communication, requisitioning, and management of supplies and equipment, compliments the activities of the nursing staff, patients, physicians, other hospital departments, and visitors. He/She performs general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficient functioning of the Emergency Department</div>
Responsibilities:
<div>
Greets patients and families courteously.</div><div></div><div><br>
Answers questions or finds someone who can.</div><div></div><div><br>
Answers the telephone identifying self and area within 3 rings.</div><div></div><div><br>
Relays messages accurately and timely.</div><div></div><div><br>
Understands and demonstrates concern for patient confidentiality.</div><div></div><div><br>
Operates the EMS Radio and hand held radio</div><div></div><div><br>
Acts as resource person to nursing staff and support services.</div><div></div><div><br>
Notifies nursing staff of STAT orders.</div><div></div><div><br>
Uses the computer to enter orders.</div><div></div><div><br>
Faxes orders to the pharmacy when necessary or appropriate.</div><div></div><div><br>
Transcribes orders correctly when needed.</div><div></div><div><br>
Transcribes STAT orders correctly in times of Cerner Downtime procedures.</div><div></div><div><br>
Demonstrates understanding of acceptable abbreviations by using them when transcribing on the medication administration record in times of Cerner Downtime procedures.</div><div></div><div><br>
Accurately prints ED Register Log</div><div></div><div><br>
Files forms in patients&rsquo; charts as required.</div><div></div><div><br>
Admits patients.</div><div></div><div><br>
Transfers patients.</div><div></div><div><br>

Orders supplies from stores using Lawson system.</div><div></div><div><br>
Attends all required safety training programs and can describe his or her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, and specific job related hazards.</div><div></div><div><br>
Follows the hospital exposure control plans/Bloodborne and airborne pathogens.</div><div></div><div><br>

Qualifications:
