 Overview
 
 
 
 Cleans walls, lights, fixtures, and furniture in all assigned areas of the hospital to maintain an aseptic environment and prevent healthcare-associated infection using standard cleaning procedures and chemicals. Cleans, waxes, extracts, and maintains floors, carpeting, and stairwells and assists with heavy cleaning throughout the hospital.
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 Minimum Education:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Requires the ability to read and follow instructions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Equivalent to two years of high school preferred
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Minimum Work Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Up to one month to become proficient in all aspects of the position.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Required Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 To operate all cleaning equipment in a safe proficient manner that does not cause damage. To work and interact with patients, staff, and visitors to create and maintain an environment conductive.
 </li>
 <li>
 Required to comply with OSHA regulations for the N95 respirator training and fit testing. Must be compliant at the beginning of each scheduled work shift.
 </li>
 <li>
 Adheres to infection control policies and guidelines appropriate for their work area. Hand hygiene and PPE requirements followed when appropriate.
 </li>
