<div>The athletic program at Appalachian State University operates on the premise that intercollegiate athletics is an integral part of the institution&rsquo;s overall program of education. Priority is given to high standards of both academic and athletic quality &mdash; the goal being the complete development of the student-athlete.</div>

<div><div><b>Minimum Qualifications</b></div>
<div>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.</div>

<div>Basic photography skills, photo editing and video editing; Adobe Premiere and After Effects knowledge; working knowledge of collegiate athletics and game day/sport event environments</div>

<div><div><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b></div><br>
<div></div><div><br>
<ul><li>Produce still and motion graphics and other digital assets for App State&rsquo;s official athletics website, athletics social media, marketing platforms (e.g., video boards) and promotional print materials (e.g. posters, schedule cards, etc.).</li>
<li>Create graphics for the use of App State varsity sport programs</li>
<li>Provide design elements and support for social media strategies and content for official athletics social media accounts.</li>
<li>Provide additional content management for sport social media accounts (such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) with a strong emphasis on in-game content to maximize coverage, interaction and growth.</li>
<li>Assist ticketing and marketing operations in creating unique and original content to enhance ticket sales, increase fan engagement and promote fan experience.</li>
<li>Work closely with the Marketing, Strategic Communications, Sports Productions, and associated external units on design assignments, from initial concept to completion.</li>
<li>Assist with game days, photoshoots and have the ability to travel to cover away events as needed.</li>
<li>Provide design support to all groups within the Athletics department.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
