Purpose: The role&rsquo;s purpose is to set 12+ completed demos per month by making outbound calls and sending outbound emails. Also, to help promote our booth / presence at trade shows via pre-event outreach.

Job Description:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will create demos for our Account Executives (AE&rsquo;s) by making outbound phone calls and sending outbound emails to our lead lists.

Responsibilities:<ul>
<li>
Outbound Engagement: Focus 80%+ of your time on outbound calls and emails to engage SMB prospects.</li>
<li>Product Representation: Represent Applause with integrity, passion, professionalism, and a deep understanding of the product&rsquo;s features and benefits.</li>
<li>Prospect Education: Help cold prospects understand the value of Applause software, building awareness and interest.</li>
<li>Demo Scheduling: Set qualified demos for interested SMB prospects to meet with AEs, facilitating pipeline growth.</li>
<li>Trade Show Engagement: Call trade show attendees, encourage booth visits, and follow up to nurture leads.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:<ul>
<li>
Sales Experience: 1&ndash;2+ years of experience in outbound B2B SaaS sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding SDR quotas.</li>
<li>Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage SMB decision-makers effectively.</li>
<li>Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with using sales CRMs (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce) to manage prospecting and pipeline activities.</li>
<li>High-Volume Activity: Comfortable making 200+ outbound calls per day in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance high activity levels with effective follow-ups.</li>
<li>Remote Effectiveness: Proven ability to work in a remote environment with excellent time management, a reliable internet connection, and zero noticeable latency.</li>
<li>Work Flexibility: Ability to work an 8-hour shift within the hours of 7 AM &ndash; 7 PM EST to support client needs and outreach strategies.</li></ul>
