Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Music/Preschool Substitute Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will step into classrooms to deliver engaging music and preschool activities, ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early development while maintaining classroom continuity in the absence of regular teachers.Responsibilities<ul><li>Implement age-appropriate music and preschool curriculum plans that foster creativity, social skills, and early childhood development.</li><li>Prepare and organize classroom materials, musical instruments, and educational resources for daily activities.</li><li>Deliver engaging lessons that incorporate singing, movement, rhythm exercises, and basic literacy and numeracy concepts.</li><li>Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and consistent behavior management techniques</li><li>Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smooth transition between substitute and regular teachers, maintaining classroom routines.</li><li>Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and participation in activities.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and early childhood education a plus.</li><li>Experience in teaching or tutoring young children within preschool or early elementary settings preferred but willing to train the right candidate.</li><li>Familiarity with classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques tailored for young learners.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.</li><li>Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments while maintaining high energy levels.</li><li>Join us as a Music/Preschool Substitute Teacher to bring joy, learning, and inspiration into the lives of young children!
