Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Perform a day to day review and processing of requisitions as assigned.</li><li>
Perform data order entry into AIT&rsquo;s and customer's systems to obtain quotes, issue purchase orders, and maintain the blanket purchase orders for the relevant business.</li><li>
Evaluate and resolve changes in part numbers through MSSR function, manufacturers or changes to fit, form, and function. Work with customer personnel to obtain approval of changes prior to material receipt. Notify customer of items that are obsolete or discontinued.</li><li>
Continually identify duplicate stock codes or product.</li><li>
Maintain lead times for those items on the look ahead.</li><li>
Work with service centers to collect information on weekly backlog and past due reports.</li><li>
Work with service centers and customers to expedite orders.</li><li>
Provide product sourcing assistance and continually pursue products within our scope of supply.</li><li>
Address specific problems as they relate to notifications.</li><li>
Work directly with warehouse personnel and service centers to resolve receiving issues</li><li>
Resolve, monitor, and track all product warranty issues with the service center.</li><li>
Track cost savings achieved by Applied and documented value add to our customers.</li></ul>
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience, traits, and skills as they join our team and help move us to the next level.<ul><li>
Equivalent to bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business, sales or marketing related fields</li><li>
3 to 5 years&rsquo; industry related work experience.</li><li>

Account Specialist

Join the PCI team! PCI is seeking a Data Analyst/Calibration Coordinator to work with our team in Raleigh, NC providing calibration support. Do you have experience in vendor management, shipping instruments to vendors, quality documentation review, reporting from databases, and planning/scheduling as well as working with technicians for the overall success of a calibration program? It's a busy job but may be the perfect fit for you!
This Data Analyst I position provides database and other support to PCI service teams across the US. Some of the responsibilities of a Data Analyst I include:<ul><li>
Assisting with standards (third party calibration set up, data entry in RAM, shipping and receiving, pulling standards for jobs, checking for expiring standards, etc.)</li><li>
Controlled document review and updates (Microsoft word experience)</li><li>
Export reports from RAM and email (excel experience needed).</li><li>
Quality review of calibration documents.</li><li>
Asset management in PCI BMRAM( includes data entry, scheduling work and running reports for clients)</li><li>
Quality review of metrology lab calibrations( includes receiving assets from Quality review and moving to be processed by shipping)-</li><li>
Managing client contacts and database.</li><li>
Assist with vendor management (contacting expiring vendors to complete required documents)</li><li>
Provide assistance with routine general lab, Team, office or field support.</li><li>
May include filing, scanning, copying, organizing, and basic data entry.</li></ul>
The Data Analyst I will also be responsible for cGMP compliant documentation and integrity of data. The instrumentation data is maintained in a CMMS database. SAP, ProCal, RAM or Maximo experience is desired.
Required skills of the Data Analyst I include:
A two-year degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, other related field, or equivalent military training and two years of applicable experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Pharmaceutical industry or quality system experience is preferred.
The Data Analyst I must be willing to travel overnight up to 25% of the time.

Data Analyst I - Entry Level

<div>Join the Pharmaceutical Calibrations and Instrumentation (PCI) team! We are seeking a Calibration Technician III that can perform calibrations onsite at our client pharmaceutical facilities in the Midwest as needed. If you prefer working at a fast pace, &quot;on the go&quot; instead of at a desk, have a passion for performing quality work, and have a strong electronics or instrumentation background, this position may be just for you! Up to 75% travel is required based on project and client needs.
This position will focus on performing preventive maintenance, qualifications, relocations and calibrations on a variety of instruments such as electronics, temperature devices, pressure gauges, centrifuges, incubators, balances, and others as found in pharmaceutical manufacturing and laboratory environments. The Calibration Technician III reports directly to the Team Leader, Manager, or Director depending on the organizational structure.
Expectations:
Calibration Technicians complete calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with accurate and timely GxP documentation, following PCI and/or client specific policies and procedures. They are expected to take a proactive role in supporting the Team and in providing client support and are expected to build a high level of trust with internal and client personnel. This trust is developed through consistently upholding PCI Values and demonstrating Honesty, Integrity, Pride, Accountability, Teamwork, and Commitment.
In addition to the above expectations, the Tech III is expected to have a broader knowledge base of instrumentation and regulatory compliance. They will continue to train on new instrumentation areas and build an understanding of pharmaceutical and FDA requirements. Increased client interaction will occur and the Tech II will develop a deeper understanding of PCI&rsquo;s services and how clients can expand the use of these services.
In addition to the above expectations, the Tech III is expected to identify and execute tasks that enhance the ability of PCI to provide an &lsquo;added value&rsquo; service for clients and provide guidance and direction on technical issues. Tech III&rsquo;s have a higher level of technical experience and expertise to troubleshoot issues, as well as assist in providing innovative, creative, effective, and long-term solutions.
Responsibilities/Assignments:
Calibration Technician I<ul><li>
Under supervision, completes calibrations and qualifications in a safe, timely, and accurate manner, following PCI and client specific policies and proposals.</li><li>
Able to perform, with guidance, basic pressure, temperature, humidity, time and CO2 calibrations.</li><li>
Is adept at handling PCI and client owned equipment and test equipment with care.</li><li>
Identifies project supply and equipment needs and conveys to the appropriate resource to ensure availability.</li><li>
Works to understand client needs and requirements through effective communication and develops client relationships through excellent customer service. Ensures client requests are conveyed to the appropriate PCI management resource and met in accordance with management direction.</li><li>
On average, 90 - 95% of work time will be utilized completing scheduled calibration and maintenance events.</li><li>
Timesheets and expense reports are completed weekly with accurate labor and expense codes.</li><li>
Maintains a neat and professional PCI work area and projects a professional image at all times.</li><li>
Always considers safety when executing tasks and projects. Ensures that PCI work areas are safe, neatly organized and professional on-site and in an office environment.</li></ul>
Calibration Technician II (in addition to those listed above)<ul><li>
With minor supervision, completes calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with accurate and timely GxP documentation, following PCI or client specific policies and procedures, and in a safe manner.</li><li>
With guidance, able to perform flow, conductivity, pH, mass and dimensional calibrations.</li><li>
Is attune to potential new opportunities for PCI when at a client site or interacting with a client and relays this lead back to Leader/Manager.</li><li>
Completes timesheets with correct labor code charges (weekly) and assists other PCI Associates in proper coding of time and expenses.</li><li>
Responsible for proper handling and maintenance of PCI and client equipment, including testing and standards equipment.</li><li>
Learning to troubleshooting and perform repairs, but the majority of work will continue to be scheduled calibrations and maintenance events</li><li>
Able to identify and report any safety issues at the work site, including educating peers on safety practices.</li></ul>
Calibration Technician III (in addition to those listed above)<ul><li>
Without direct supervision, completes calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with accurate and timely GxP documentation, following PCI or client specific policies and procedures, and in a safe manner.</li><li>
Provides effective solutions to client needs and requirements, effectively communicates with clients, and develops client relationships through excellent customer service.</li><li>
Able to manager small projects and supervise technicians on those projects.</li><li>
Identifies potential value-added business opportunities at client sites and shares with appropriate PCI Team Manager.</li><li>
Develops basic quotes or proposals; assists with development of complex proposals.</li><li>
Professional, diplomatic, and tactful with potentially sensitive issues; has a good understanding of the business case. Comfortable dealing with all levels of management and clients, respected by peers and clients.</li><li>
Handles PCI and client owned equipment and test equipment with care and trains other Associates on proper use and handling.</li><li>

Is familiar with all PCI service offerings and is comfortable exploring potential leads while at client sites.</li></ul>
Skills Required:
Calibration Technician I<ul><li>
Basic understanding of Traceability, Substitution of Standards, and Test Accuracy</li><li>
Skilled with pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical instrumentation; as well as manual and computer-based process control loops and systems; understands and applies basic concepts of calibration and requirements including accuracy testing.</li><li>
Ability to climb stairs; climb on equipment such as tanks. Moderate to heavy lifting.</li><li>
Understanding and awareness of safety requirements and safe practices.</li><li>
General electrical panel knowledge and electrical safety procedures.</li><li>
Working knowledge of MS Office suite.</li><li>
Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and good driving record.</li><li>
Reliable, confident, eager to learn, and enjoy working with people.</li><li>
Listens well and asks questions to learn more.</li><li>
Displays good organizational skills.</li></ul>
Calibration Technician II (in addition to those listed above)<ul><li>
Expanded understanding of Traceability, Substitution of Standards, and Test Accuracy and Uncertainty Ratios.</li><li>
Expanded understanding of calibration concepts and requirements including accuracy testing requirements.</li><li>
Able to make independent decisions within defined scope of work, seeks clarification and directions when needed. Must be self-driven and demonstrate ability to work with little direction.</li><li>
Basic understanding and application of GMP&rsquo;s and Life Science Industry regulations.</li><li>
Basic understanding and application of instrument, equipment, and loop calibrations of various parameters in manufacturing, utilities, and laboratory environments.</li><li>
Basic understanding of calibration concepts and requirements including accuracy testing requirements.</li></ul>
Calibration Technician III (in addition to those listed above)<ul><li>
Thorough understanding of calibration concepts and requirements including accuracy testing requirements.</li><li>

Experience &amp; Education Required for the Calibration Technician III:
A two-year degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Electronics, other related technical field or equivalent military training and four years of applicable (Metrology, Instrumentation, Calibration) experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Quality System/Pharmaceutical experience is preferred.
