Responsibilities include:
<ul>
<li>Conduct reviews on program portfolio to evaluate and/or recommend alternative plans, improve systems engineering programs/processes, manage/sustain program technical baseline, and design/perform system level tests to assure that subsystems and system performance is achieved in accordance with approved specifications.</li>
<li>Perform program reviews to evaluate alternative proposed plans, systems engineering programs, design, and test results to assure that subsystem and system performance is achieved in accordance with program specifications.</li>
<li>Prepare technical documents which define, specify, and recommend system/subsystem characteristics. Prepare management reports and conduct technical presentations for planning, implementation, and corrective action using application of engineering economy principles.</li>
<li>Perform validation of systems, including development of criteria and procedures. Analyze and/or evaluate results of major engineering systems.</li>
<li>Provide system/program engineering, technical support, and technical training to support programs/initiatives, including but not limited to acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, continued evolution, deployment/fielding and installation, and operations oversight.</li>
<li>Provide engineering support services and inputs to program and project risk management activities in compliance with Air Force SEAM processes.</li>
<li>Capable of performing problem/gap definition, trade space analysis, science and technology roadmap analysis, &ldquo;Set based design&rdquo; for concept development, Multi-Objective Decision Analysis (MODA) and cost versus capability trade off analysis.</li>
<li>Capable of implementing Digital Engineering, Digital Thread, and Digital Twin techniques across system Lifecycle.</li>
<li>Apply engineering expertise to systems and subsystems including configuration management, data management, security, and other technical integration functions.</li>
<li>Manage complex system interfaces, identify, and document interfaces, and assure the effective integration of multiple subsystems.</li>
<li>Ensure system requirements meet user requirements; utilize user requirements to design, develop, fabricate, test, and evaluate system concepts, perform assessments, and review the system design.</li>
<li>Perform and/or support capability analyses and COTS/GOTS evaluation, select components, and develop system interfaces to ensure compliance with DoD and commercially accepted standards and requirements.</li>
<li>Constructs models and simulations of systems to demonstrate the ability to meet user requirements.</li>
<li>Conducts engineering performance, cost-effectiveness, reliability, technical and schedule risk assessment, and scheduling trade-off studies and document this information in a technical report as directed by the task order.</li>
<li>Provide aid or guidance as necessary in the accomplishment of other engineering tasks.</li>
<li>Media Library, Obsolescence, Service Desk Incident Remediation.</li>

Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Must be a US Citizen</li>
<li>Top Secret Clearance with ability to pass SAP background screening</li>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics</li>
<li>Minimum 5+ years of experience in technical engineering</li>

<li>Duties also include the support and maintenance of existing AF systems for mission critical applications across a variety of software and hardware platforms in use by the different groups.</li>
<li>Requirements also include planning, design, development, and deployment of new systems as directed by leadership within the available AF toolset.</li>
<li>Must provide information and procedures to users within the directorate to ensure consistent access and secure operations. Supports access control for SharePoint groups as needed and support group administrators to maintain their SharePoint data effectively and securely.</li>
<li>Selected candidate will also perform other duties as assigned.</li>

Qualifications

<li>5+ years of experience in Microsoft Windows and Linux system administration</li>
<li>5+ years of cybersecurity related work experience</li>

Systems Administrator - Journeyman

<div>Applied Research Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Data Truther to support the development, characterization, and quality assurance of ground-truthed datasets used to train, test, and evaluate machine learning and automated target recognition (ATR) systems. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, organizing, annotating, and validating multi-modal sensor data&mdash;including Wide-Area Motion Imagery (WAMI), Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR), and Full-Motion Video (FMV)&mdash;to produce high-fidelity, well-documented &quot;truth&quot; data. You will also help establish repeatable truthing processes, mentor new team members, and source imagery and other data to meet evolving research requirements. The ideal candidate combines strong attention to detail, an understanding of imagery and sensor phenomenology, and a methodical approach to data labeling and documentation.
