<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Responsibilities:</b></h3><ul>
<li>Work with all levels of the organization to introduce and implement changes in business processes and application practices affecting clients, including proposing system-related business processes and technologies.</li>
<li>Performs planning and analysis of new, enhanced, improved, or revised existing information systems or related technologies, strategies, standards, policies and procedures, continuous improvement, and budget for assigned projects.</li>
<li>Stays abreast of current and upcoming technology and software offerings in the industry, understanding their capabilities while assessing their potential value and application in the tax practice, with a focus on creating efficiencies and increasing automation.</li>
<li>Continuous communication with tax practice leadership on new technologies and concepts while providing recommendations for software testing.</li>
<li>Develop and manage a charter and timeline for testing, evaluating, and implementing new technology.</li>
<li>Serve in a project manager role for key departmental initiatives.</li>
<li>Analyzes audiences and develops effective communication strategies to drive organizational change and ensure adoption.</li>
<li>Own the end-to-end process change and oversee/deliver socialization and training.</li>
<li>Work with teams to drive a continuous improvement mindset.</li>
<li>Monitors compliance with department policies, procedures, and guidelines.</li>
<li>Develop test procedures to ensure existing system software and modifications meet user specifications.</li>
<li>Apply system analysis techniques and procedures, including interviewing various resources to gather required information and analyzing and documenting requirements.</li>
<li>Support development of software or system functional specifications that allow for the successful development/configuration of select automation software solutions.</li>
<li>Will work in the evaluation of new technologies and platforms.</li>
<li>Be the departmental contact person for the internal DevOps team, IT, and tool vendors.</li>
<li>Use data analysis techniques to gain insights from various sources.</li>
<li>Be a trusted automation and tooling advisor for DevOps initiatives by providing objective, practical, and relevant ideas, insights, and advice.</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Required Qualifications:</b></h3><ul>
<li>5+ years of related experience.</li>
<li>Familiarity with tax software required (Practice Engine, CCH Axcess Tax, GoSystem Tax, UltraTax CS, Lacerte Tax, CaseWare, CCH Engagement, Workpapers CS).</li>
<li>Keen attention to detail, problem-solving, and strong analytical skills.</li>
<li>2+ years of experience documenting processes and practices, often using accepted project methodology artifacts, while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects, and deadlines.</li>
<li>Understanding of project management fundamentals.</li>
<li>Expert knowledge of Excel.</li>
<li>Mid-level knowledge and experience with database principles and computer science fundamentals.</li>
<li>Understanding of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces).</li>
<li>Understanding of relational databases and Power BI.</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Preferred Skills:</b></h3><div>
<ul><li>Consulting experience.</li>
<li>Strong customer service orientation.</li>
<li>Experience working with Office 365 and SharePoint.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform.</li>
<li>Knowledge of DAX and SSIS.</li>
<li>Knowledge and/or basic development experience with one or more of the following technologies: Python, Visual Basic, Java, Objective-C, C, and .NET.</li>

<div>Aprio&rsquo;s Transaction Advisory Services group has the prime opportunity to have a positive impact on our client &ndash; both strategics (private and public) and private equity investor groups operating in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, technology, retail restaurant and hospitality, healthcare, government contracting, construction and business services.</div>

<div>With our specialized knowledge, we dive into clients&rsquo; buy-side and sell-side transactions and reemerge with important information that clients consider in connection with their decision to execute mergers, acquisitions, and divestiture transactions.</div>

<li>Compiling and analyzing historical financial data/financial statements provided by the buyer and/or seller.</li>

<li>Understanding customer and vendor trends and other key transaction risk considerations.</li>
<li>Proactively participating in meetings with Aprio client service team and management of client.

<li>Creating and designing tailored transaction advisory reports addressing significant transaction consideration matters and issues.</li>
<li>Continuously fostering relationships with coworkers (through all services lines and industry groups of Aprio) and clients (both strategics and private equity).</li>

<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting or finance</li>
<li>Licensed CPA is a plus</li>
<li>Understanding and applying Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills</li>

<li>Positive attitude, strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills</li>
<li>Working effectively and personably with a diverse group
