 Your Role:
 
 
 
 The Senior Accounting Analyst, Cash, Debt &amp; Derivatives, is an important role to the accounting function of the new organization. In addition to the main responsibilities of assisting with providing accurate accounting, reporting and technical guidance for the organization related to cash, debt and derivative activities, the candidate in this role will be part of a team that will be able to shape standards and processes.
 
 
 The Senior Accounting Analyst, Cash, Debt &amp; Derivatives will prepare relevant journal entries and account reconciliations, along with related analysis for cash, debt and derivative activity to ensure transactions are accounted for in accordance with accounting standards. He/she will also prepare quarterly and annual related exhibits, assist external audit, assist in SOX preparation and execute special projects as appropriate.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Coordinate with the relevant Corporate staff (for example Treasury) to ensure proper accounting occurs each month.
 </li>
 <li>
 Take ownership of the cash accounting system, properly mapping cash transactions to ensure correct accounting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Learn and master our derivative accounting system, running required reports each month/quarter and troubleshooting where needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide monthly forecast and annual budget support for FX and commodity hedging.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform research of US GAAP standards in conjunction with the Technical Accounting group to address any new events or transactions that impact the accounting for debt and derivative activities, including documentation of accounting conclusions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with the preparation of all quarterly and annual footnote and other disclosures related to debt and derivative activities to be included in quarterly and annual SEC filings.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support external audit and review procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with SOX compliance documentation and testing as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Plan, develop, and execute special projects as appropriate.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Candidate Profile:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 3-5 years of accounting experience ideally including both public accounting and corporate experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelor degree in accounting or finance
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
 </li>
 <li>
 Should be known as an excellent leader and have a proven ability to work in cross-functional teams. Should have the capability and desire to take on broader roles in the finance organization. Additionally, this individual should understand and manage cultural differences inherent in a highly diverse international business, naturally building relationships across the enterprise through collaboration, consensus building and interpersonal effectiveness.

 Have the ability to understand the business implications and impact on the consolidated financial statements related to employee cost accounting.
 </li>
 <li>
 CPA license or equivalent (Preferred)

Senior Accounting Analyst, Cash, Debt, & Derivatives

<ul><li>Good Knowledge of selection and use of all wiring harness components according to properties like material type, temperature class etc.
</li><li>Good knowledge of vehicle architecture/topology
</li><li>Good knowledge of DFMEA
</li><li>Good knowledge of Boundary Diagram and Parameter diagram
</li><li>Good knowledge of various functions of vehicle and intended/unintended electrical and mechanical connections and energy transfers
</li><li>In Depth knowledge of wiring harness design process
</li><li>Good knowledge of wiring harness manufacturing process
</li><li>Good knowledge of Harness assembly/installation process at OEM
</li><li>Good knowledge of DVP&amp;R
</li><li>Good knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturing)
</li><li>Good knowledge of automotive industry core tools like: Technical Design review and Change management
</li><li>Good knowledge of problem resolving and root cause analysis techniques
</li><li>Basic knowledge of PFMEA
</li><li>Familiar with the electrical and electronic parts of the vehicle
