 The
 
 Manufacturing Engineer
 
 at Aqua-Chem will be responsible for supporting the production process to ensure optimization of cost, quality and on time delivery of products.
 
 
 
 Schedule:
 
 Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
 
 
 
 Location:
 
 Onsite; Knoxville, TN
 
 
 
 Pay Range:
 
 Dependent on Experience | $85,000 - $135,000

 Essential Duties:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Update or emplace manufacturing work instructions plant wide.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop standard labor hours and optimization of those hours.
 </li>
 <li>
 Design to value: improve new and existing manufacturing drawings for ease of manufacturing and reduction in cost without affecting safety, quality, form, fit, and function.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support purchasing: prepare scope of supply, to include instructions and drawings for suppliers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support manufacturing &ldquo;red lines&rdquo; &ndash; incorporate minor manufacturing design change request(s) without disrupting manufacturing operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review of new manufacturing drawings for release
 </li>
 <li>
 Support Application in cost estimations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support the aftermarket department with tasks such as finding replacements for obsolete parts, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Be a leader in completing the transformation into a data-driven organization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Report progress on initiatives and KPI&rsquo;s.
 </li>
 <li>
 Documents potential risks or shortfalls in methods and processes
 </li>
 <li>
 Help develop a highly capable manufacturing support team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Education/Experience:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience required
 </li>
 <li>
 5+ years of experience in a capital equipment manufacturing environment preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to operate in Autodesk a plus
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Requirements:

 Must be a U.S. Citizen
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to work overtime as required.
 </li>
