ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES &amp; DUTIES<ul><li>
Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.</li><li>
Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.</li><li>
Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.</li><li>
Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.</li><li>
Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment.</li><li>
Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.</li><li>
Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.</li><li>
Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, and assemble new equipment.
</li><li>Record repairs and maintenance performed.</li><li>
Study blueprints and manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation and operation of machinery.</li><li>
Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from computer generated data to report and diagnose equipment problems.</li><li>
Record parts and materials used, and order or requisition new parts and materials as necessary.</li><li>
Observe and test the operation of high-speed automatic and manually operated mechanical machinery / equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using company provided tools/equipment.
</li><li>Demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators.</li><li>
Enter codes and instructions to modify/ test or program computer-controlled machinery.</li><li>
Other duties assigned by supervisor that may not be included in the above list.</li><li>
Be aware of Aquafil's Recycling Guidelines and Environmental Management Systems Policy (see supervisor if further explanation is needed).</li><li>
Responsible for all facility maintenance to include extrusion, masterbatch, finishing, facility but not limited to other company needs.</li></ul>

Maintenance Mechanic

<div><ul><li>-MUST be willing to train M-F 7a-4p and then move to either our B shift or D shift (6:45p-7a swing shift)</li><li>-MUST have the following:
</li></ul><ul><li>2+ years experience as an industrial electrician working in a manufacturing setting</li><li>
2+ years experience with drives, PLC's and VFD</li><li>
Bend conduit experience</li><li>
Ability to interpret electric schematics
</li><li>Familiarity with 480 volts 3 phase</li></ul>
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES &amp; DUTIES<ul><li>
Plans details of working procedure by determining replacement needs or new material required and develops a logical approach to correct the problem.</li><li>
Analyzes circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service or replace electronic devices and systems.</li><li>
Receives wiring diagrams, specifications and instructions from supervisor covering emergency and scheduled repairs, installation, and electrical inspection work to be performed.</li><li>
Performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles, statutory codes, properties of materials and principles of operation of electrical equipment. Starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements.</li><li>
Services electronic equipment by checking, testing, and replacing faulty components, circuits, printed circuit boards, and similar electronic devices.</li><li>
Installs, repairs, and maintains communication cables, power distribution cables, then splicing pieces as required.</li><li>
Fabricates parts if not commercially available, using machine and hand tools common to the trade.</li><li>
Determines need for, analyzes, and makes necessary running adjustments, repairs, and overhauls.</li><li>
Advises and cautions operators and mechanics about potential electrical problems and inherent dangers involved.</li><li>
Notifies supervisor of potentially dangerous electrical equipment noted and corrective action taken.</li></ul>
