<div></div><div>AquaPhoenix Scientific is seeking an experienced Business Development Executive, responsible for building and expanding the Company&rsquo;s lab supply, test kit, and reagent division. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to open doors, penetrate new markets, and are excited to join our expanding business.
Primary responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, advancing the sales process, building/expanding relationships with clients/customers, and devising strategies to drive growth and profitability. The successful candidate will be working in a team-driven environment, rich in culture and experiencing tremendous growth. Knowledge of or experience selling reagents and lab supplies into industrial markets is a preferred.
Desired Skills, Education, and Knowledge
AquaPhoenix Scientific considers applicants with diverse backgrounds, education, and work experience; however, applicants for the Business Development Executive position will frequently have a combined education and/or work experience that is a minimum of a bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; along with four or more years&rsquo; sales experience - preferably in the water treatment industry. Requires a valid US driver&rsquo;s license and the ability to travel as required to fulfill the expectations of the position.
Additional characteristics, attributes, and skills include but are not limited to:<ul><li>
Develop and follow through on proactive sales leads through external source leads, cold-calls, and current customer/prospects.</li><li>
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base.</li><li>
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting.</li><li>
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.</li><li>
Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and account management.</li><li>
Understand client needs and objectives and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.</li><li>
Conduct regular account reviews to assess client satisfaction, identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, and address any issues or challenges.</li><li>
Collaborate with internal teams such as production planning, marketing, and customer support to ensure client needs are met effectively.</li><li>
Track sales activity, pipeline, and performance metrics using CRM software.</li><li>
Generate regular sales reports and forecasts to management, providing insights into market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity.</li><li>
Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.</li><li>
Proven track record of successfully meeting/exceeding annual sales goals and targets.</li></ul>
This is a remote sales position and the successful candidate will be subject to customary travel as reasonably required to perform the essential responsibilities of the job &ndash; including infrequently to the Company&rsquo;s corporate offices located in Hanover, PA.
