 Position Overview:
 
 
 
 The
 
 Sales Engineer
 
 will play a key role in driving Aquila&rsquo;s commercial growth across the Dubai oil &amp; gas landscape. This role focuses on providing technical expertise during the sales process, supporting client needs, and positioning Aquila as a trusted partner to operators, EPCs, and service providers. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and commercial acumen, a solid understanding of the oil &amp; gas and energy engineering industries, and established relationships within the Dubai energy sector. Experience with upstream, well engineering, or project execution is a strong advantage.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 Technical Sales &amp; Client Support
 
 
 <ul>

 Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical solutions to clients in the oil &amp; gas sector.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support identification of new business opportunities by presenting engineering expertise and solution capabilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in proposal preparation, technical documentation, and product presentations.
 </li>

 Market Intelligence &amp; Strategy
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Stay informed about energy industry trends, regulations, and market developments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide technical input to business planning, competitor analysis, and market strategy discussions.
 </li>

 Client &amp; Partner Relationship Management

 Support relationship-building activities with key stakeholders, including NOCs, IOCs, EPCs, and major service providers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and commercial negotiations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain a pipeline of potential technical engagements and support account management efforts.
 </li>

 Technical Leadership

 Assist in the customization of engineering solutions to meet client requirements.

 Provide technical guidance during bids, tenders, and project proposals.
 </li>

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions align with commercial objectives.

 Industry Representation

 Represent Aquila Engineering at technical conferences, workshops, and trade shows in Dubai and internationally.

 Promote the company&rsquo;s technical capabilities through client engagement and industry networking.

 Performance &amp; Reporting

 Track sales engineering KPIs, including technical proposal success, project support, and client engagement effectiveness.
 </li>

 Provide regular updates to leadership on technical sales activity and performance metrics.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven experience in technical sales, pre-sales engineering, or sales engineering roles within the oil &amp; gas or energy sectors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of upstream operations, including well engineering, drilling, or production services.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong network within Dubai&rsquo;s oil &amp; gas ecosystem, including operators, EPCs, and service companies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated ability to support successful sales and technical proposals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent technical communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Willingness to travel within Dubai.
 </li>
