Provide secretarial, administrative and clerical support for management and staff. Greet visitors, answer telephone calls, conduct assignments and projects, receive and distribute correspondence and mail, gather information and compile diverse reports for management.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:&middot; Perform various executive and administrative support duties that are sensitive and sometimes confidential.&middot; Read and screen incoming reports and correspondence; make preliminary assessment and organize documents.&middot; Research, compile, assimilate, and prepare sensitive and sometimes confidential documents.&middot; Follow up and arrange for issuing visas and traveling permits, travel flights, hotel reservation and car renting, etc. and coordinate with the Human Resources for that. Also, maintain travel records and vouchers.&middot; Recommend actions to be carried on office expenditures like supply and equipment need.&middot; Operate electronic mail systems and coordinate the flow of information both internally externally.&middot; Review work done by others to check for correct spelling and grammar, ensure that Center format policies are followed, and recommend revisions.&middot; Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers and phone systems, and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management and other applications.&middot; Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.&middot; Compose, type and distribute meeting notes, routine correspondence and reports.&middot; Open, read, route and distribute incoming mail and other material, and prepare answers to routine letters.&middot; Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence and other materials.&middot; Conduct searches to find needed information, using such sources as the Internet.&middot; Screen and ensure orderly schedule of employee and visitor appointments to the office.&middot; Make sure that every department in the office has the needed office supplies and monitor the equipment usage in the office&middot; Take care of plants and straightening magazines to maintain lobby or reception area.&middot; Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information, taking messages and scheduling appointments.&middot; Greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.&middot; Hear and resolve complaints from customers and public.&middot; Transmit information or documents to customers, using computer, mail or facsimile machine.&middot; Schedule appointments, maintain and update appointment calendars.&middot; Provide information about establishment, such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization or services provided.&middot; Take orders for merchandise or materials and send them to the proper departments to be filled.&middot; Schedule space and equipment for special programs and prepare lists of participants&middot; Any duties or responsibilities assigned by the management.Well-established Soil, Material &amp; Geotechnical Testing Company is seeking a Secretary.  Job Summary:
 
 
 
 
 Performs microbiological sampling and laboratory analysis on variety of samples (environmental, food, etc.) as per established standard test methods/standard operation procedures.

 Duties and Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Conduct various microbiological testing assigned to him/her including sampling, sample and media preparation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the microbiological sampling and tests are carried out according to required standard test methods/SOPs and per customers&rsquo; requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Record test data accurately in accordance with related test methods and SOPs. Check laboratory worksheets for accuracy of data entry and calculations before their submission to concerned supervisor for review and reporting.
 </li>
 <li>
 In accordance with the applicable SOPs, conduct and record data for reagents and media preparation, for sterility checks of pre-sterilized consumables and laboratory supplies, and for verification of reagents, media, microbiological cultures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conducting method validation experiments under the direction of the Senior Microbiologist.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analysis of PT samples assigned to him/her.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in training sessions and seminars, provide on the job training to other fellow chemists.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor and record environmental conditions in the microbiological lab including ambient temperature, humidity, air quality and the indications of temperature and humidity conditioning devices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Applies the requirements for good housekeeping, including sterile/aseptic techniques, cleaning and sterilization of consumables, glassware, equipment, laboratory, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain laboratory equipment and apparatus in good working order, following appropriate procedures for usage, clean-up/sterilization, calibration and maintenance. Inform Senior Microbiologist for equipment defects/breakdowns when required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement ACES Quality Management System requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Implements the requirements of ACES HSE Management system including using of appropriate protective tools and safe work with and disposal of hazardous materials.
 </li>
 <li>
 Any duties or responsibilities assigned by the management.
 </li>

 Education &amp; Experience:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor's degree in biology or microbiology.
 </li>
 <li>
 0-2 years of experience in testing laboratory specialized in microbiological testing of food, and environmental samples.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Fundamentals of Biology and Microbiology.
 </li>
 <li>
 General knowledge of general science and mathematics including algebra, statistics and data analysis.
 </li>
 <li>
 A good knowledge of the microbiological principles, techniques, terminology and procedures applicable to the separation, preservation and identification of microorganisms.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proper sample collection procedures and techniques.
 </li>
 <li>
 Mathematical calculations used in microbiology analyses.
 </li>
 <li>
 Standard reference methods and standard operation procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 International and local technical specifications related to the scope of tested materials (GSO, QCC, WHO, etc. as applicable)
 </li>
 <li>
 Proper use, calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment, including the sterilization of equipment, supplies, and hazardous biological materials
 </li>
 <li>
 Awareness of requirements of ISO 17025 and ACES Quality Management System
 </li>
 <li>
 Awareness of requirements of ACES HSE Management System and especially, working with hazardous chemicals and hazardous waste disposal.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good technical reading and writing skills in English language
