We are a well-established MEP contracting company seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to independently manage the full accounting cycle of the organization.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain and manage complete company accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations</li><li>Handle project-wise costing, WIP tracking, and profitability analysis for MEP contracts</li><li>Prepare monthly financial statements, cash flow reports, and management reports</li><li>Conduct regular internal audits to detect irregularities, discrepancies, and unauthorized transactions</li><li>Manage VAT filing, compliance, and FTA submissions</li><li>Process payroll, WPS, gratuity provisions, and leave salary accruals</li><li>Coordinate with external auditors during annual audit</li><li>Manage supplier and subcontractor payment schedules and retention tracking</li><li>Operate and maintain records on ERP software (experience with construction/contracting ERP systems is essential)</li><li>Handle trade license renewals, insurance, and bank guarantee documentation from a finance perspective</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience as an Accountant in a UAE-based contracting or construction company</li><li>Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Pact, or similar)</li><li>Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and FTA portal</li><li>Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reporting)</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage the accounts function end-to-end</li><li>Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for identifying financial irregularities</li><li>Familiarity with WPS payroll processing and MOHRE/immigration cost tracking</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Salary: AED 4,500/month (all-inclusive package)</li><li>Employment visa provided by the company</li><li>Stable, long-term position in a growing MEP firm</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per monthWork Location: In person
