 Your Role:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 In-depth knowledge about the Steam Turbine Casing Fabrication manufacturing process and quality requirements
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 In depth understanding of Fabrication drawings
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Monitor daily inspection activities and NDT Level II in UT/PT/MT/VT as per ASNT/ISO 9712
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Hands on experience in usage of UT of welded structure and able to identify the weld defects.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Carry out inspection of weld quality - Visual and NDT of Weld Joints.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Should be able to do Dimensional Fit up inspections and Final inspection of welded structures. Should able to correlate with subsequent manufacturing process of Machining/Assembly.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Hands on experience of Usage of Leica Laser Tracker or any other equivalent machine.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Previous experience of inspection of Nuclear Projects (Fabricated Structure) will be added advantage.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Raise flag for any non-conformance/process deviations
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Hands on experience on QM Module of SAP
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Sound knowledge of all machining processes and usage of precision measurement instruments like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gagues etc..
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Well convergent with manufacturing process like Machining, Assembly and Fabrication of Steam Turbine Components
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Create awareness among team to raise stop work/Quality Concern on small deviations
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Well convergent with component and assembly drawings
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Ready to work in all three shifts
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Active participation in FMEA meetings and ensure all relevant risks are identified and mitigated before execution of process
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Review and understand the quality requirements of each product and identify the special instrument requirement in advance
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Identify productivity improvement opportunities from Inspection perspective.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Prepare stagewise Inspection checklist for components and assemblies
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Raise NCR when any non-conformance is noticed.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Coordinate with Shift Production Engineer on daily inspection needs/priorities.
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 Basic Qualifications(requirements):
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 1-4 Years of Experience
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Well convergent with SAP/MTA/Microsoft Office tools (Advance understanding needed)
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 Desired Qualifications:

 Knowledge of ISO 17025
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 NDT Level II in UT/PT/MT as per ISO 9712
